Text
'Vincent' is probably one of the most, if not the most, personal work Tim Burton has done. The plot of this short 6 minute stop-motion film is about a boy, Vincent Malloy who pretends to be like the actor Vincent Price while obsessed with the stories of Edgar Allen Poe and experimenting on his dog. Vincent's obsession eventually results in his detachement from reality and suffering from terrifying delusions until he believes he is dead.
The short film is narrated by non other than Vincent Price himself which was the start of Burton's friendship with Price until his death in 1993.
