Music

A style of music I enjoy and listen to everyday is korean/pop music. I listen to singers and bands like (BTS, BIG BANG, AILEE, WONDER GIRLS, GIRLS DAY, MISS, HYUNA) I love the korean language, I find it sounds beautiful/soulful. The beat that the artists produce are fun to sing along because it is catchy. I may not understand the language although it makes me want to learn. Korean music makes me very happy listening to it. I feel as if the music understands me.

Newfoundland and Labrador - St. John's. Nova Scotia - Halifax. Prince Edward Island - Charlottetown. New Brunswick - Fredericton.

During the summer of 2016, me and my family friends visited East of Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador - St. John's.Nova Scotia - Halifax,Prince Edward Island - Charlottetown and New Brunswick - Fredericton. We have booked a tour guide to travel there and we had a delightful time. We went for a week or two and spent many hours in the bus it felt nauseating. This trip being a lot i will write about the important events.. We stopped by the seas along the way and went whale sightseeing having to use goggles in order to look at them closer. We waited either 10 or 20 minutes for the whales to jump up the ocean. After that we visited the Atlantic ocean in Halifax, the ocean was absolutely beautiful it almost looked as if it was glowing. The water was blue as the sky and the black rocks on the land was shining but maybe because it was the sun? The aura around the ocean felt magical. A while after we arrived at Murphy’s restaurant in Halifax and tried the Atlantic ocean lobster. It was very salty. We then hiked a mountain at Parc national forillon to see the northern birds. The mountain was very high and it took 30 minutes to walk up there. When we reached the top we saw 31000 birds flying around the mountain but also all huddled up in one area. The next stop was Prince Edward island where we visited the art museum placed with many unique statues and art pieces. The island was filled with antique stores and food. This is a sum up of my family trip :)

Wonder Women

This film came out this year 2017/Genre: Fantasy/science fiction. This film is about a princess from a sheltered, magical island. She is born with super powers and later on finds out that they are destined to be used in order to save the outside world. I have recently watched this movie and give it a 8/10. It was a great movie with overblowing side effects making the audience feel as if it was the reality they were living in. I found this movie unbelievably amazing because it sent the right message indicating to take action in front of injustice. Wonder Women had a full team who saw no hope in saving the prisoners but she took matters in her own hand and used the best of her ability to save the land. The movie was truly inspiring and made me think that anyone could be a hero with powers or without. Diana the main female lead was perfect for the role in my opinion, she having talented acting skills. The reason why I do not give this film a 10/10 is because the dialogue could have been more exciting.

Writing changes

My writing started off as bland and disorganized. This course has improved the weak points of my writing. I have learnt how to structure paragraph’s and form setting’s, plot’s and end’s more efficiently. Practicing writing in this course had also made me become more open minded which had an effect in my work. My writing had became more intellectual filled with different ideas.

Techniques

The techniques that grew on me ever since being in this course is evoking emotions onto a character which brings the story more to life. The emotions have the characters seem more human than just a fictional character made up by words. Invoking multiple senses is another technique I have used strongly. The senses of smell, taste, touch, sight and hearing i’ve learned has a great impact in creating a story. Using words to describe the senses will give the audience a more descriptive image of the scene.

Abandoning a Masterpiece

The factors that have me abandon a piece of my work are when I feel as if my work is not good enough. If I feel like my piece of writing is not reaching it’s full potential then I will have the need to re-start my work. For an example if my writing topic is not a topic I will succeed in then I will not continue the work. Not only this but if the topic does not capture the audiences attention or mine then I will leave it since I have no joy in writing it.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Starting off in this EWC4U course has made me realize my potential and weaknesses of writing. Being assigned writing projects such as creating short story’s has made me realize one of my strengths of having a vivid imagination. My creativity had expanded throughout this course by all the free write. Being an honest writer had also been a strength of mine. I believe that I have an honest voice with everything I write. Writing about the truth in world has made me enjoy writing. The area that I can approve is my word selection since I’ve been using the same words my entire life, my vocabulary has not been expanded.
