Smile For Me Week 2025: Day 1: Habitat ( s4m AU X RGU )

[ ID: Traditional fanart. Screenshot redraw from Adolescence of Utena the anime movie but with Smile For Me game characters, again from my AU of it, Roseverse. This piece has Tiff Webber and Jerafina Tabouli as Anthy and Utena respectively.

Tiff and Jerafina stand against a field of yellow freckled tooth lillies, their backs to the viewer and at a distance-- green hills dot the horizon. It is sunset and the sky is covered by big, billowing clouds.

Tiff is the taller one. She has dark brown skin here, and wears her hair in box braids with curly strands added in. A yellow crown rests atop her head, and she has round epaulettes with teal tassels. Cuffs are seperate, red and black. Her dress alternates in red and very light pink, almost white color from top to bottom. An extra transparent layer poofs out over the sleek dress like a ball gown, in the same pinkish white color. Jerafina is shorter, also fat here, and has lighter purple skin made up of scales. Her hair is an imitation of jellyfish tentacles and look like purple and red curls. She wears a dark hat along with a black and white blazer that has red lines outlining at certain points like the shoulders and legs. End ID]

HEYYYY SMILE FOR ME WEEK❤️❤️

It's like 2 AM here though so I'll try to be quick with the description 😭 I tried to go for like....something new this time, so here's a crossover between my AU and Utena....an AU of a AU if you will....

Pleaseeee don't take any of this super seriously btw, no I didn't assign every single character roles and stories, its more of an aesthetic au than anything. They're all adults in this too. Imagine they're LARPing or something.

My basic reasons for choosing Jerafina as Utena-

1) I've always liked more masc Jerafina as a HC

2) She's a siren in my AU so that's usually a western myth associated creature, thought it'd fit with Utena's broad western folktale themes.

Tiff as Anthy-

1) So I can give her pretty dresses and hairstyles aha

2) On the surface they're both quiet, weird girls.

And finally Jerafina/Tiff is already kind of crush thing in the game so the pairing isn't out of nowhere.

The background is a mix of the original screenshot and some elements from the game itself :) wanted it to be different. And LILLIES ARE quite YURIOUS...
