no lie i genuinely believe brands are so behind the pleather movement bc they can just buy cheap plastic sell it as expensive 'vegan leather' and be ready for you to return in a couple years to buy another 'vegan peeta approved™ leather jacket' bc they last like 5 minutes compared to the way leather lasts decades all the while you can pat yourself and coorporate's back for being sutainable all the while pvc (what some fake leather products are made of) has been labeled the single most environmentally damaging type of plastic and while there are non pvc fake leathers such as pu leather... its not like thats much better producing plastic pollutes and the second your pleather clothes start to breakdown (which happens much faster than you think) theyll wound up on landfills for at least a 100 years...

feels like bashing my head against a brick wall trying to talk to the like... carceral feminist but trans ally kinda people who get shocked ur not super on board with harsh prison sentences for hate crimes and don't think "better diversity policies for prisons" any "have the cops magically stop being transmisogynistic" is a good solution.

They only want the kittens, so idk what they’ll do with the adults.. but not fixing or taking them and only taking the kittens just.. leaves us with a bunch of unfixed feral cats still 🥴

No but seriously the United States desperately needs to have a discussion about segregation against the disabled in our school systems and we can start with how anti-masking and perfect attendance policies have forced medically vulnerable kids to either put themselves at grievous risk or pull out of school all together

one time a girl asked my pronouns, i told her it/its, she tried ONCE before asking if she could just use they/them. right in front of my salad. like why even ask me at that point
