New blacksmith

So after a bad blacksmith, I finally got a good one. And it makes me feel better to employ a veteran who is trying to be a good person. I thoroughly loved his work and Tracer loved him

Well, it's been quite a while since I logged into tumblr and actually used it....like, a year while. Tracer and I have since moved barns twice, completed in our first show together, and now we're prepping for next year's show season to hopefully show hunter jumpers. My boyfriend and I are working on building our barn so I can move Tracer home as soon as possible and continue our work, along with bringing along our ottb filly we got in January. How're all my followers doing? What's an update on your lives with your ponies?

One of the hardest things in life is not being there to say goodbye to your childhood dog. 15 years he gave to us, of love and loyalty; I'll never repay you old man ❤

We finally got our lives together yesterday and loped instead of cantering like our lives depended on it. 3 hours. Of riding. I feel like I was hit by a freight train.

Since my last time on tumblr, Trace has broken my foot by trampling me, we've been working on trust again, and we're finally getting our lives together.

Well, I broke my foot a few days ago. Tracer trampled me. It wasn't his fault and he was a good boy afterwards. He looked at me like, "I'm sorry mom". So now he and I will be working on trust exercises on the ground while my foot heals until I'm cleared to ride.
