Ask any ukulele player about the instrument, and the word "love" will inevitably be spoken. Why has this small, four-stringed instrument captured the hearts and minds of so many new players? Could it be because it is the size of a cat or an infant? I've heard others say that just holding it is enough to make them feel happy. You see, you don't simply hold an ukulele, you embrace it. And because it is relatively easy and fun to learn to play, it puts music within the grasp of many who might otherwise be reluctant to pick up an instrument. For those so inclined, the ukulele is extremely addictive.

If I could I’d navigate a black hole deep in space / just to grab a little light to shine upon your face. / Though science says I’d not survive / I’d make it back to you. / It’s just the kind of man I am. / It’s just what I would do.

Kala Baritone Ukulele. I don't play this much, as I definitely prefer the tenor ukulele.

2nd verse of my song about dreaming, suicide, narcolepsy, and the ukulele. It’s titled “I Dreamed.” © 2017 by Yow! “And I dreamed I had a fancy house / And I dreamed I was a man not a mouse / And I dreamed I was the President / I dreamed I never owed nobody no rent / But when I woke up, I was back in bed / I grabbed my gun, put it to my head / But before I could do it I fell back asleep
