something vindictive but ultimately harmless I do at work is that if you’re at my register and you’re rude to me and you pay with cash I am finding the most disgusting desolate fucked up unspeakable coin I can to give to you. oh you were mean to me? you’re getting the yucky nickel bitch

I have some news for members of the united states armed forces who feel like they are pawns in a political game and their assignments being unnecessary.

list of mundane things that feel like ancient human rituals
cleaning or wipe your bare feet
breaking off a piece of bread and handing it to someone
putting the weight of a basket on your hip or head
eating nuts or berries while hunched over close to the ground
seeing something startling just out of your line of sight and very quickly stepping or leaping on to a larger object to get a better view
cupping your hands into running water to wash your face
the unanimous protection of a baby or child in a public space where women are present
when an elderly woman laughs and grips your forearm tightly

Mary the Elephant : : Watercolor & Gouache
This has always been a piece of folklore that fascinated me growing up.
Mary was an Asian elephant in the Sparks World Famous Show’s circus and while in Sullivan County, TN in September 1916 was given a new handler named Red Eldridge, who she killed during his second day as her handler. He was highly unqualified and while leading the parade used his hook to correct her from eating watermelon in the street. Which resulted in Mary removing him from her back and his head being crushed underfoot. A veterinarian looked at her body after she was executed and determined she had a severely infected tooth where her handler would have prodded.
After the first attempt of killing the elephant failed, she was transferred to Erwin, TN by railcar to the train yard. It was the only place with a crane large enough to hang an elephant since shooting had not worked. The first attempt ended up with a broken chain and Mary breaking a hip. The second attempt was successful and she was buried in the train yard. The exact location of her body is unknown.
I have always wanted a tattoo of “Murderous Mary” but never really saw something I thought was tasteful. It’s usually the image of her being hung from the crane and I just really didn’t like it.

I’m proud to identify as morosexual. I’m attracted to dumbasses and dumbasses exclusively. A guy asked me what the Spanish word for tortilla was once and now I dream of kissing him under the moonlight

we seriously need to stop conceding to the personhood trap when it comes to abortion rights. is a fetus a person? thats a spiritual question. i dont care about the answer. should another person dictate what someone can do with their body? simple answer: no.

Whenever I see someone refer to "Victorian era-" for places outside the UK I'm tempted to start saying shit like "Han Dynasty era Rome", "Soviet era Australia" etc
