Kite deserves more love in my opinion. So that's why i'm bringing back this event!! I really wish I was there to participate, but that's a problem I can't fix. I've decided to bring back kitesweek, coming up with new prompts!!!

I wasn't there in 2020 to witness hxhtok, hxhtwt or any other platform, but i'm here now! For a little background though, there was a week when people of the hxh community started "kitesweek2020", an event where artists drew him every day of the week. Pretty self explanatory.

Now, I'm sure this post will flop, but oh well. Use tag "#kitesweek2025" if you're participating!! starts on Saturday, June 7th and ends on Friday, June 13th

You know what's upsetting?

Kite hated killing.

He was just there to study the ants because he was a researcher. He didn't even specialize in insects! Larger animals were his thing!

He didn't even like working with insects, but he was there because he is professional!

He didn't like killing, but he understood how dire the situation was and understood that he had to play exterminator to these ants for the sake of humanity.

Yeah, he didn't consider he would die when he first stepped into NGL. He was overconfident (but to be fair, he was pretty strong), yet when he realized the imminent danger, when he realized he could lose, he prioritized Gon and Killua

We got him back, in a different body, but same soul, same experience. But I wish we hadn't lost him to begin with.

He was just a guy who liked animals and wore natural fiber clothes
