Tustry - Sweeper Pokémon

Type - Fairy / Ground

Ability - Shield Dust / Sand Spit / Cute Charm (Hidden)

Evolves into Thrugbare at level 32 during the night.

A helpful Pokémon that will happily sweep and clean up the rooms of little children. However, if they are not grateful for its help, it will become spiteful.

Thrugbare - Boggart Pokémon

Type - Fairy / Ground

Ability - Fur Coat / Sand Spit / Bad Dreams (Hidden)

It hides underneath unswept beds, accumulating dust in its fur and waiting for nightfall. Then it emerges with a ferocious roar and terrifies young kids into doing their chores.

While Ultimate was a massive step in the right direction, I still think Wario could use some reworking in Smash, to be more in-line with his regular self. So just for fun, here’s my personal, idealized Wario moveset:

Jab:

His jab is now the exact one-two punch from World and it’s more of a damage jab then one that leads into combos.

Dash Attack:

Wario rolls across the floor like when rolling down slopes in Wario Land. Smash Remix in fact even already went with this idea.

Tilts:

His tilts stay as they are.

F-Tilt is not based on anything, but it’s funny and suits Wario.

U-Tilt stays as is, because Wario does this motion in a bunch of games, from Woods, to Land, to Ware.

D-Tilt stays as is, because Wario’s hand motion alludes to something like using your finger for a touchscreen, aka’ WarioWare Touched.

N,F, B and U-Aeirial:

These can also stay as they are, since Wario doesn’t have that much basis for aerial moves.

Plus, N-Air resembles his crouch-jump from VB Wario Land and Shake It.

D-Air:

A Ground Pound, that functions like in Project M and Smash 2.

Pummel:

Wario shakes the opponent, ala’ Shake It, slow, but does good damage for a Pummel.

F-Throw:

Wario throws the opponent forward like in the Land games.

B-Throw:

Stays as is, since it is already based off the Wild-Swing-Ding from World, though he should also be able to move while doing it, like in World and Project M.

U-Throw:

Wario tosses the opponent up and hits them with a stretchy Ultra Hand boxing glove, ala’ Wario Master of Disguise.

D-Throw:

Wario piledrives his opponent ala’ Wario World.

F-Smash:

A forward kick like in SNES Wario’s Woods and Project M.

D-Smash:

The Earthquake Punch from Shake It, like in Project M.

U-Smash:

Stays as is, but Wario now puts on the Bull Helmet from the early Land games, for added flair.

N-Special:

The Shoulder Charge, functions very similar to how it does in mods, where it’s a strong, mobile move, that can also be used in the air, but activating it in the air will only lunge him forward a bit and puts him into free fall.

F-Special:

Stays as is, I ain’t giving up the bike.

U-Special:

The Corkscrew Conk from World. Does more damage and is a decent OOS option, but is worse for recovery.

D-Special:

Stays the same in function, but Wario uses the WarioWare Bomb now instead of farting. It’s a dud if it’s not charged enough and the explosion shoots him upwards.
