[ Yarrow steps in with a face overcome by amazement, as he takes in the sights and smells of this delicious new experience. Clad, on the other hand, is very obviously scanning the crowd with the intensity of a Union DOJ/HR officer, intent on checking that there will be no more "incidents" stationside ]

"Wow, how do you find places like this? This smells like.... so many herbs? And meat? And..."

[Yarrow trails off, and Clad eventually relaxes -a touch- . ]

"Should I find a table for you, Captain Çech?"

A Lively Meal

And here we are!

Sadia spreads her hands grandly as she and the Leviathan's motley crew approach the taco place. It's... unimpressive, to say the least? Unscrupulous would be more apt. Its walls are grimy, its patrons even grimier, but the food at least seems good.

Some rough-looking, hardsuited folk look up from their cards and drinks as the group follows Sadia through the airlock-like doorway. A shout of "Irasshaimase! Be right with ye!" echoes from the back of the kitchen, and Sadia grins.

Nothing like a good dockside restaurant, eh? Just smell that cooking. Fucking fantastic.

She turns to address Forge's crew.

How much station food've you guys had before? I might have some recommendations, 'specially for you fancy Karrakins. Don't wanna scare you off, now do we?

OoC: Also, lancer-shaped meme blogs are everywhere, too. Just look at @lancer-elvis , who honestly has some great posts (also Styx's fault)

OOC: kinda also want to get into Lancer RP posting, but I'm not sure how. you're really good at this so 8 want to ask two questions:

how do you keep track of all the interlocking story arcs going on at once? do some of you know each other IRL or what?

is it cringe to bring in a homebrew license? because I came up with a weird striker/support I call the HORUS Unicorn and kinda want to bring it in, but that might be *too* weird.

I keep track of storylines by having the characters rotating in my brain constantly.

On a more serious note many of the people in the community have become really good online friends of mine and we talk on discord quite a lot and plan some of our stuff there. But those I don't know on discord I speak to over Tumblr dms. Speaking OOC about intent in a storyline can really help things flow! If you're scared to dm someone just send an ask first but I've found that the vast majority of people here are chill. My DMs are always open as long as people are nicies to me! Lol

On the topic of homebrew, pretty much everyone i know is ok with it. As long as you're open to friendly balancing critique if you try to actively use it mechanically most people will be down to roll with it.

My friend @corsair-news-alliance has an absolute PEAK homebrew LCP, as do a couple of my other friends in the community. I am very big on encouraging that type of creativity!!!

But yeah all in all just hop in!! We don't bite!!! I have a couple of relatively big? blogs in SINGED and Rosie so I can answer questions and stuff but like. I got my start by just jumping in and shitposting with Rosie!! It's very fun!!!

[ The Gilgamesh grabs the Worldkillers arm, and begins pulling it towards the open door of the hangar. The metal begins to soften and glow hot as it holds the mech, but Yarrow holds fast even as heat alarms turn to fire indicators. ]

[ The pair of mechs finally reach the door, and In Anger Clad takes Forge's mech from Yarrow as they stagger out. In his mech, Yarrow's palm flash-burns as he slams the button to stabilize his mech, reactor vents working overtime to clear apocalyptic levels of heat. Clad, in the meantime, is checking over the Worldkiller ]

"Captain. Are you safe in this frame? Do we need to extricate you for your safety?"
