Reblogging some more Jersey Gems related art.
I noticed that there were a lot of pretty bad Red Onyx references I had made in the past - so I updated her design with a fresh reference sheet. Some of her facial features have been changed to look more consistent in design. Specific canon changes include: making the top of her head round and not square; making her horns more curved and less straight (the tips almost touch); making her gem smaller and not so obnoxiously huge; fixing the Diamond symbol on her uniform.

In her furious awakening, she had melted the earth to a bright slurry that poured forth as she took her first step. The Diamond military had it’s first general.
