Goodbye world.
I think I am done here. I’m tired of this window into my soul existing. Furthermore, I’m tired of people’s interpretations of it. I’m tired of the blind attachment to my emotions and the well wishes. I’m tired of girls thinking that my writing is about them, or that they know me better than they do because of it. I’m tired of wondering if anybody reads this shit and wondering why they would. I’ll give it a week, think about it in anger and in happiness then make a decision. If my current sentiment holds this little acre of internet will be gone forever. You don’t deserve to know me this well and more importantly you shouldn’t care. Farewell.

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Toda arma.
Forjada contra mim não prosperará.
E toda lingua.
Usada contra mim em juízo, Deus condenará.
A bola que é minha.
É minha.
A bola que não é minha.
E minha também.
Então corra. Corra como se fosse o último dia da sua vida.
Seja feliz em campo.

Shift Happens
It’s a subtle feint, or a slight of hand. The feeling goes from insatiable to intolerable, but never all at once. Like tectonic micro shifts that change the earth’s dimensions and begin to pull the continents apart, we begin to drift. The movement is small, infinitesimal at first, but over time it grows. Over time it grows and continues to grow until eventually the shift is undeniable. Eventually we look up and realize that we can no longer see each other without telescopes. That we no longer orbit the same star. And at that point what happens? When the common ties have been stretched to a fray and the unifying themes found in relationships and laughters passed no longer moves either of us. Do we simply move on? Do we continue to orbit our respective stars, or do gravitational pulls draw us closer together again? Who’s to say? But one thing that I do know for sure is that I am tired. Tired of being overlooked and overused. Tired of being taken for granted and left out to dry. Tired of continuously being the wall leaned upon and never the one leaning. So if it continues on, mark my words, I will simply disappear. I will do as I’ve always done and find a new path, because my patience has withered and my heart has grown tired.
