WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA...

“WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens: JUSTICE, social, economic and political; LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship; EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation; IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this 26th day of November, 1949, do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION.”

This is preamble of constitute of India, which starts with WE THE PEOPLE OF INDIA and it clearly mentions  that state that this country will never discriminate to anyone based on their thoughts, expression, belief, faith and worship and it will give social, economical and political justice to its citizens.

When your constitution state this thing clearly about equality and freedom, there is no space for any kind of person, place, event, rule, law which violate core of constitute of India.

Under Citizenship Amendment Bill, which is now act post approval of honorable President of India, Citizenship Amendment Act, when we are saying we will give citizenship to refugee Hindus, Shikhs, Christians and Jains, except Muslims, it violates your constitute there only. Now here, people are arguing that “Muslims can go to any other country, there are many Muslim countries, but where will Hindus go? In neighboring countries, Hindu population is reducing very quickly, they will come to here only”. I personally don’t see this as valid argument, if any Muslim refugee wanted to go to any other country then why he would come to India? And it is also not right to accept other religion people just because of their cast. There are countries like US, they also gives citizenship to refugees, however they are not discriminating based on any region, religion, cast, gender etc.  There is one more argument people are giving Mughals ruled this country for hundreds of years, this is country belong to Hindus and all kind of stuff. Mughals and Britishers rule at the time there were Monarchy, power was under one person only, ruler at that time were making rules based on caste and religion, societal structure was based on caste and they did tons of other shit things for which our society already paid price.  Now when we have this hard fought democracy, which is talking about freedom of everyone about everything, why one want to violate that. One should learn from mistakes of past to make present and future, instead of complaining and being nostalgic about past. Other argument is that, illegal Muslims living in this country are responsible for terrorist activities. This is bullshit; you cannot generalize entire religion based on terrorism. Religion is by born; one can’t choose in which religion he wants to born, one simply cannot sideline someone just because he is from so and so religion. When you are generalizing Muslim religion with terrorism, you are calling Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Shahrukh Khan Terrorists.

When we are living in a country where there is freedom of speech and freedom of expression, If one feel that something is democratically incorrect and want to put his/her point, discuss, protest, it should be allowed, rather than calling anti-national and putting section 144 to shut down their voices. However there shouldn’t be any place for violence in any kind of protest in democracy.

So either you believe in constitution and follow it to practice democratic values or declare India as HINDU RASHTRA and update preamble like : “WE THE PEOPLE OF HINDU REPUBIC OF HINDUSTAN.”

“I HAVE NOT SEEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS BEFORE…”

Yes, I just watched one documentary activist film on Youtube.  After watching it, I am ANGRY, I am sad, I am feeling sad about my country, I lost my mind and I AM SPEECHLESS.

I am talking about veteran documentarian Anand Patwardhan's four-hour-and-twenty-minute long film titled : Vivek (English title: Reason) which was WORLD PREMIERED at 43rd TIFF(Toronto International Film Festival). This film’s first episode uploaded on youtube on 5th April 2019 and later on remaining 15 episodes uploaded. In this documentary, Mr. Patwardhan shown everything that our mainstream media is hiding, some things that are horrible , shocking, heart breaking and we don’t know anything.  Film talk about HINDU RASHTRA, RSS, BJP, HINDU-TERRORISM, JNU, ROHIT VEMULLA, GANDHIJI. GODSE, MALEGAON AND RELATED BLASTS , 26/11, HEMANT KARKARE and many things we don’t know and kept hidden from us.

I know you are very busy in playing PUBG or watching GOT or CRIMINAL JUSTICE or some shit like this, but I strongly recommend you to take some time from your BUSY SCHEDULE and MUST MUST MUST WATCH this film completely, without skipping anything, most of it is in Marathi, however hindi subtitles are available.

Watch it, think over it and see if you can understand, what’s happening around us and where this country is heading. And even after watching it if you feel that its okay, nothing wrong in whatever happening, its been like this only and its going to be like this only… then CONGRATULATIONS, we are heading towards becoming country like PAKISTAN. And its already started when MALEGAON BLAST ACCUSED SADHVI PRAGYA THAKUR contesting election from LOKSABHA ELECTINO from LUCKNOW on BJP ticket. There is not difference between MASOOD AZHAR and SADHVI PRAGYA THAKUR. Tomorrow when in UN India will ask for ban on Masoos Azhar’s organization in Pakistan and Pakistan will say you also have people like PRAGYA THAKUR and ASEEMANAND in public life and in politics. What will INDIA reply then?

But still I believe in HOPE !

वोह Tissue paper जीस पर तुमने number लीख कर दिया था,

बांसुरी वाला Sunday के दीन , जब हम लोग 11 बजे उठ कर 1:30 बजे Amazon Prime पे American Playboy या Netflix पे House Of Cards या Hotstar पे GOT, देखते हुए खीडकी के बाहर गीरती हुई बारिश के साथ weekend enjoy कर रहे हैं 'तभी' यह बांसुरी वाला, इतनी बारिश में बांसुरी, गुब्बारे और खीलौने बेच रहा है, खुद के बीवी बच्चों के खाने और खीलौनो के लीये, बांसुरी बजाते हुए , नयी धून बनाते हुए । (You Know, #LifeBadiKuttiCheezHai). एक यह बांसुरी वाला है और एक वोह था, जीसे स्कूल में 2nd Standard में ही शायद गुजराती कि textbook में एक lesson बांसुरी वाला ( 'વાસળીવાળો' ) में पढ़ा था, जींस में एक शहर में प्लेग रोग फैलने से लोग परेशान होते हैं,पुरे शहर में हर जगह चूहें फैले हुए होते हैं, शहर के लोग ईनाम रखते हैं की जो भी इस पुरे शहर से कीसी भी तराह से चुहे खत्म करेगा उसे ईनाम दीया जायेगा, तभी कहीं से एक बांसुरी वाला आता है जो अपनी बांसुरी से कोई अनोखी धून बजाता है जीसे सुनकर शहर के सारे चुहे बाहर नीकलते है, बांसुरी वाले को follow करते हैं, बांसुरी वाला उनको एक पहाड़ी पे ले जाता है, जहां से सभी चूहे गीरते है और मर जाते ह��ं, और इस तराह शहर को चूहों के आतंक से मूक्ती मीलती है, और फीर बांसुरी वाला कहीं चला जाता है ! यह कहानी , 1842 में Robert Browning की लीखी एक poem Pied Piper Of Hamelin से inspired है जींस में जर्मनी के हेमलीन शहर को साल 1300 में यह Pied Piper चूहों के आतंक से छुड़वाता है, जब शहर के लोग ऊसे ईनाम देने से इन्कार करते है तब Pied Piper अपनी बांसुरी से एक और धून बजाता है जीसे सुनकर शहर के सारे बच्चे उसके पीछे चले जाते हैं, Pied Piper सबको एक गुफा में बंद कर देता है, शहर के लोगों को अपनी गलती का एहसास होता है वो Pied Piper को उसका ईनाम देते हैं , फीर वोह सभी बच्चों को मुक्त करता है और वापस कहीं चला जाता है । इसी story पे 2009 में R-Com ने Reliance Mobile के रीमेक एक Television advertisenent बनाया था जीसमें बोलीवुड के Greek God Hritik Roshan बने थे Pied Piper, जींस के डान्स मूव्स सभी को बहोत पसंद आये थे और आज भी याद है । जींदगी कुछ इस तरह...!

                           Kapoor & Sons (Since 1921)

90 Year old retired Army officer Amarjeet Kapoor (Rishi Kapoor) living with his younger son  Harsh Kapoor(Rajat Kapoor) and Sunita Kapoor(Ratna Pathak Shah) in beautiful place Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Harsh has two son : Rahul(Fawad Khan) and Arjun(Sidhdharth Malhotra). Rahul is novelist and entrepreneur and living in London. Where as Arjun quit his online job and doing part time job in bar and trying to become writer living in New Jersy. Rahul and Arjun come to home in India cause of his grandfather’s illness. At home they come to know about situation in house, financial crisis within family. Situation is like Harsh shouting at Sunita about monthly light bill of amount 6738 Rs., plumber scene is brilliantly written and captured by Director. It is one of the best scene of entire movie and one will remember for long.

Tia Malik(Alia Bhatt) is in Coonoor to rent her Grandfather’s bunglow, she throws party to her friend who stayed at her grandpa’s bunglow for her honeymoon where she meets Arjun. Rahul also come in touch with Tia while finding house. Relation between this 3 turns very interesting later on.

Dadu aka Amarjeet Kappor (Rishi Kapoor) character is very funny, always smiling  and jolly. His wish to take complete family photo before his death and hang in house after he passes away

This film shows how relationships within family, Husband-Wife, Father-Son, Mother-Son, Between brothers getting worse and turns ugly, how all having different issues with each other lives in same family. Plus point of movie is family crisis covered in story, songs and powerful acting from all lead actors. Though Alia Bhatt’s role is smaller compared to Fawad and Arjun but still she did justice to the role. Music  is in favor of the film. Kar Gayi Chull is party anthem comes at Alia Bhatt;s entry  and Budhdu Sa Mann is also party anthem both are full energetic party songs. Where Bolna in Arijit’s soulful voice is magical and feel good song. It is one of the top chartbuster of 2016. It will be in your head after completion of movie.

Situation created in last 30 Mins shows how good writing of the film is.  Shakun Batra done great  job as a writer and director after Ek Aur Main Aur Ek Tu. Its not complete love story neither fully masala film but its mixture of both with ligh comedy specially Rishi Kapoor scenes.  So for me it is entertaining film as it is something different than conventional rom-com Bollywood movie. It has emotional appeal which attracts you and can relate your self with some character or situation which is best part of it.

17 year old  teenage Girl named Hazel Grace Lancaster suffering from rare terminal cancer.  She diagnosed first when she was 13 year old, she was lucky enough that she found a drug therapy which works well for her and extend some time for her but she knows that she is going to die very soon. Her lungs get affected and cause of which she can’t breathe properly, have to keep oxygen support with her all the time. Hazel living with her parents, her mother thinks she is depressed, hardly eats anything and leaves house very often. Though, Hazel not agrees with her. She thinks she is not depressed but she is moving towards death cause of cancer which makes her like this. She keeps reading one book named Imperial Afflictions again and again which sounds wired but she is fascinating about that book and had some question regarding characters and story of the book which she wanted to ask American author of book Peter Van Houten living in Amsterdam.

Her mother asked her to join support group where she meets group of children like her suffering from some serious disease. Here she meets 18 year old very handsome, charming, intelligent and witty Augustus “Gus” Water,  who is also suffering from cancer Osteosarcoma and lost his right leg year and a half ago as a result of cancer. Augustus is a kind of person who want to leave mark on the world, he fears of oblivion.

This is story of love and survival. It is full of emotion. How Hazel and Augustus deal with their love and death.

It is very beautifully written story directed by Josh Boone. Based on John Green’s  best seller novel Fault in our stars, it shows sentiment of family, person fighting with death, their emotion and situation captured perfectly. Built up of love story between lead characters, their conversations, thinking process, chemistry between both are very beautiful.

One thing which might not digest is that families of both (Hazel and Augustus) behave normally throughout. If this movies was made in India and parents was India then it might created  lot of melodrama, however in this movie both parents shown normal their children are suffering from serious disease still they are not over reacting. Writer, director might want to show maturity of character but as an Indian audience we might feel it awkward if someone behaves normally in such tuff situations. Best thing according to me is dialogues of the movie. Some dialogues are such nice that it becomes immortals. Like “Some Infinities are bigger than other infinities”, when Augustus put cigarette  in his mouth and Hazel said this is not good thing, Augustus replied “They don’t hurt you unless you lit one, I never lit one, it’s a Metaphore, you put the thing that doesn’t killing you right between your teeth but you never give it power to kill you. Metaphore.” “You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world, but you , but you do have a say in who hurts you, and I like my choices. I hope she likes hers.”  And pre funeral speech, oh man one can never forget that !

Overall, Director Josh Boone created unusual magical love story on screen. it is extra ordinary story about kids suffering with cancer, captured beautifully and supported by some brilliant performance and dialogues. Writer of book John Green taken Title “Fault in our stars” from Shakespeare’s play Julius Ceaser one dialogues which says that  Fault is  not in our stars , but in ourselves. It is not fate that destruct men, but their own thinking and behavior.  This becomes my all time favorite !

Once on a yellow piece of paper with green lines he wrote a poem And he called it "Chops" because that was the name of his dog And that's what it was all about And his teacher gave him an A and a gold star And his mother hung it on the kitchen door and read it to his aunts That was the year Father Tracy took all the kids to the zoo And he let them sing on the bus And his little sister was born with tiny toenails and no hair And his mother and father kissed a lot And the girl around the corner sent him a Valentine signed with a row of X's and he had to ask his father what the X's meant And his father always tucked him in bed at night And was always there to do it Once on a piece of white paper with blue lines he wrote a poem And he called it "Autumn" because that was the name of the season And that's what it was all about And his teacher gave him an A and asked him to write more clearly And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door because of its new paint And the kids told him that Father Tracy smoked cigars And left butts on the pews And sometimes they would burn holes That was the year his sister got glasses with thick lenses and black frames And the girl around the corner laughed when he asked her to go see Santa Claus And the kids told him why his mother and father kissed a lot And his father never tucked him in bed at night And his father got mad when he cried for him to do it. Once on a paper torn from his notebook he wrote a poem And he called it "Innocence: A Question" because that was the question about his girl And that's what it was all about And his professor gave him an A and a strange steady look And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door because he never showed her That was the year that Father Tracy died And he forgot how the end of the Apostle's Creed went And he caught his sister making out on the back porch And his mother and father never kissed or even talked And the girl around the corner wore too much makeup That made him cough when he kissed her but he kissed her anyway because that was the thing to do And at three a.m. he tucked himself into bed his father snoring soundly That's why on the back of a brown paper bag he tried another poem And he called it "Absolutely Nothing" Because that's what it was really all about And he gave himself an A and a slash on each damned wrist And he hung it on the bathroom door because this time he didn't think he could reach the kitchen.

Kis Kiss Ka Kissa...

There are  7 friends. All are in early forties and all well settled. One is Doctor who is Radiologist and his wife Sumitra is House wife, Varun and his wife Shalaka both are teacher by profession, Parag is computer specialist and his wife Aditi works in a bank, Abhishek who is only bachelor in group and he is interior designer by profession. They all are old friends and meet every Saturday.

One Saturday they meet, and party is going on, every one drinking, dancing and singing in fool mood. Suddenly light goes and there is darkness everywhere, music turns off and at that time there is one sound of kiss and followed by sound of slap. Everyone heard this.

This is the starting scene of Director Samilr Patil’s Hindi comedy play KIS KISS KA KISSA.  Which is follows by consequences, doubts, relationship issues, marriage life, extra marital affair, human psychology and many things.

Though play is not good, but dialogues and situations created is very nice. Some dialogues superb which portrait relationship and marriage life in right way. One dialogue where Doctor told to her wife that “Aurte Sharab Pine Lagi Aur Party o Me Nachne Lagi Iska Matlab Hum High Society Wale Ho Gaye ?   (Pointing His Head And Says) Yahaan Se, Yahaan Se Hum Middle Class Hi Hai…” In Another Where One Female Character Asks One Male Character “Tumhari Wife Pe rape Hoga Toh Tumhe Jyaada  Taklif Hogi Ya Fir Uska Chupke Se Kisi Ke Saath Affair Chal Raha Hai Yeh Jan Kar ?” Male Replies “Of Course Affair Wali Baat Sunkar Kyun ki Rape Me Uski Koi Galti Nai Hai, Lekin Agar Affair Kar Rahi Hai Toh Fir Yeh Toh Cheatinh Hai “  Lady Asks “ Matlab Tumhari Biwi Agar Tumse Thodasa Jhuh Bole Aur Kisike Sath Affair KArke Khush Rahe Toh Tumhe Jyada Taklif Hogi Aur Wohi Agar Uska  Rape Hua, Uski Zindagi Barbaad Ho Gai Aur Who Badam Ho Gai Toh Tumhe Utni Taklef Nahi Hogi , Yahi Matlab Hain Uska”.  This one is my favourite : “Broad Minded PAti Jasi Koi Cheez Exist Nahi Karti”.
