My December Series Review
The Witcher VS Watchmen
Oh man where do I begin, Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia or Dr. Manhattan and Ozymandias? There has been some great Internet TV this December and TKR would love to begin by sharing its first take on these two shows.
The Witcher, a NETFLIX adaptation of the famed video game and books The Witcher and destined to give the Game of Thrones a run for its money has debuted its first season this December. Giving many including TKR a Christmas gift to remember. Geralt a mutated monster played by Henry Cavill (The Buff guy – you won’t miss him) embarks on his journey with destiny battling monsters and finding his purpose. The story tries to show that the real monsters aren’t the ones with razor-sharp teeth and claws but humans. There has been so much noise with the amazing trailers over the year building anticipation for its release on December 20th, 2019. Without a doubt, The Witcher has been welcomed the world over from the gamers, readers and absolutely anyone with no clue as to what The Witcher really is. With claims that it has been the most demanded show on a streaming service, its story brings to life a beautiful fantasy in a realm full of monsters, magic, kingdoms, and forest. With 8 episodes to this first season and a renewed season confirmed, get ready to toss another coin for your favorite Witcher. With this show garnering a rating of 8.6/10 from IMDb and 60% from Rotten Tomatoes it is safe to say that for its first season, the quest is only just beginning for Geralt of Rivia.
Watchmen the American graphic novel series by DC took a turn to the silver screen with its initial movie in 2009 paving way for a new direction in the superhero universe. The HBO series Watchmen that debuted its first season on October 20th, 2019 has truly fulfilled so much expectation set by the movie with an amazing continuation of the complexities and deeply rooted emotions the movie painted to us. It takes the direction of one Detective Abar a police officer in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a grave incident that left the police force of that state maimed. The return of key characters from the comics and movie and the emergence of many more in this dystopia will leave you the viewer stunned with the ever-continuing puzzle of what is going on that keeps you glued to your screen. With devastating cliff-hangers after every episode, Watchmen provides you with that binge you so desperately need. With just 9 episodes Watchmen takes you on a rollercoaster of emotion, cultural references and a thrill you cannot dare miss out on. With this show sweeping a whopping 96% on Rotten Tomatoes and 8/10 from IMDb, this show is worth every minute.
So maybe you may ask what’s my honest opinion, start your year with Watchmen (Maybe watch the movie first to get a foundation) then dash to NETFLIX for your good old Witcher.
So here are links to the trailers, pls be sure to enjoy it with some company.

Who is ME?
So, I am a Kenyan and I live in a beautiful country called Kenya, in a beautiful city in Kenya That’s basically my origin story. Its pretty shitty what happens but as good things never last, so do bad things. What is this? My form of Rotten Tomatoes about the many things this Kenyan does for fun and for work.
This is an interesting journey that has begun and I am so excited to see where it will lead to.
Regards, TKR.
