I want to love more than death can harm. And I want to tell you this often: that despite being so human and so terrified, here, standing on this unfinished staircase to nowhere and everywhere, surrounded by the cold and starless night—we can live. And we will.

“WouLD AnYOnE lIkE SoME STEW??!”
In honor of Hanji’s birthday and the upcoming Fall months, I have decided to share my recipe of Hanji’s stew. Please enjoy.
* Makes approximately 6 servings with this recipe.
- 4 cups Potatoes
- 1.5 oz Tomato paste
- 1 cup Frozen peas
- 3 Carrots
- 1 Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 cups Vegetable broth
- 3/4 cup Red wine (Courtesy of Zeke)
- 2 Celery stalks
- 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
- Seasoning to taste
1. Chop up all veggies into chunks. Potatoes still have skin on them as in the show.
2. Add onions, carrots and celery into pot with olive oil and cook for 4-5 minutes. Olive oil is shimmery when good; medium heat.
3. Add garlic, tomato paste, and seasoning to taste. Cool for 2-3 minutes. Should start smelling good.
4. Add wine and stir until it is absorbed.
5. Add potatoes and vegetable broth. Bring to boil.
6. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer.
7. Add peas and cook while occasionally stirring for 45 minutes until the potatoes have tendered.
8. Nom and enjoy.
“Jean what about your seconds?!”
