i woke up at 5:30 in the morning and, feeling the need to check my phone, saw that taylor had just posted about her eighth album. i had an idea in mind of what it would sound like, and while it lived up to my expectations, it also exceeded them astronomically, but Taylor has a way of doing that. folklore resonated with me in its sadness, happiness, maturity, and openness. she has always been an amazing storyteller, and folklore is just another way to prove that success. thank you Taylor, for such a wonderful piece of art @taylorswift

In isolation my imagination has run wild and this album is the result, a collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness. Picking up a pen was my way of escaping into fantasy, history, and memory. I’ve told these stories to the best of my ability with all the love, wonder, and whimsy they deserve. Now it’s up to you to pass them down. folklore is out now.
