– ❝ And thus I clothe my naked villainy with odd old ends stol'n out of holy writ; and seem a saint, when most I play the devil. ❞
❝ You speak of villainy and yet I see no hint of it. Perhaps I have been blinded by your beauty and grace too soon to find fault, that I do not fear what death may come to me that I stand unguarded and so bold in your mischievous presence. Pray tell, my lady, how do angels sin? ❞

“I used to just daydream all the time about being in movies, from the age of, like, four onwards. I would sit down and watch movies with my father and my grandfather, and always pretended that I was in the stories.”

She felt her face soften as she looked on Nimue - Elaine’s daughter, and very like Elaine as a child, but even more beautiful, with something of the smiling gaiety and dancing grace of the younger Lancelet. So FAIR and SWEET was Nimue, she could not believe anything of her was e v i l, yet this woman had served since childhood in the very house of the Goddess. And now she had repented of that evil service and come to Camelot, begging that no one should know that she had served in Avalon, not even Bishop Patricius. Not even Arthur. It would be hard, Gwenhwyfar thought, to refuse Nimue anything at all.
SHE’S WHAT YOU CALL A BRAMBLE ROSE, AS OPPOSED TO YOUR HYBRID TEA.

He chuckled at her response both in amusement and in pure intrigue of her. Even now that she sat so elegantly yet seductive on his own desk, he could see the look in her eyes that he saw the night they had met. The same gaze he had dreamt of in the months that followed. There was something about them that captured him and rendered him speechless. It was easy to feel a vulnerability around her like he’d never felt before but he was too tactical in the methods in which he had made his own to truly lose such a facade. Richard twirled the pen between his fingers, eyes trailed over the hem of her skirt before they drifted to the legs he recalled tangled with his own. Silky to the touch, long and sophisticated. She knew how to use them and he should have known it wasn’t the first time she’d use them in that way but he was too enamored by her to care then. Now, two could easily play the game. “ And what business would that be, hm? ” The tone in his voice was a mixture of mystery and his own curiousity of her. Had it been any other in her position, they would have had a gun to their head otherwise as he disliked the distraction during his contemplation of important matters. He placed the pen on top of the stacks of paper that had once held his attention before he leaned back in his chair arms crossed. “ Maybe we start with how you managed to get your hands on a very specific key that only another could be in possession of or maybe why you left me that night, Sarah? Or was it – ” He paused, a smirk on his lips. There was something about him then that made his relations to both Edward and George apparent. A York trait of flirtation perhaps. His gaze fell for a moment before they finally met hers for the first time since the intimate night they shared, as he leaned forward, close enough that he had to restrain himself from placing a hand on her thighs for the sake of whatever possible business they might actually have. Though such a thing wouldn’t stop him from the devilish look that crossed his features as he spoke. “ Nimue.”

Check Yes Juliet // au
Muse A has everything she could possibly want, huge house, rich parents who love her and will support her. Muse B is a kid with a rough past, has his own band and works in a garage on the wrong side of town. The pair never should have met, until Muse A shows up with her friends to one of Muse B’s gigs. And frankly once he lays eyes on Muse A, he simply can’t get her out of his head. So they start seeing each other, mostly behind the scenes so Muse A’s parents won’t find out. Until one night Muse A’s parents catch Muse B sneaking in their daughters window, and forbid her from ever seeing him again. And for a while she listens to them, ignoring Muse B’s calls and texts. Until one night he’s throwing rocks at her window, begging her to run away with him. And she simply can’t refuse.

His laughter echoed in the chambers as he picked up the young girl who had snuck up behind him. Mary had been a curious child that often reminded him of the child he and Edward had once been. The presence alone of the young Princess gave him happiness as he carried her into his arms. A smile upon his lips as he kissed the top of her head in return for her affections. “ I have done nothing to deserve your love, your grace.” He teased as he looked at her full of glee. “May you accompany me to the gardens? I heard you have begun reading books and wish to hear of your progress. Will you grant me such favour, your highness? ”

He hadn’t expected it, perhaps in his dreams he often thought of such a notionyet he knew such a fantasy would never stand true. They both played the starcrossed lovers, forbidden to ever dare venture to such unholy grounds. His only expression of true desire were written in ink, only for her eyes and in her private quarters. It had been agonizing to see her suffer the ignorance of his brother, but he had no business meddling in such an affair. Only meant to be a witness to it, as was his duty to her as guard then. Now their circumstance had bore a fruit sweeter than any other. Her soft lips tasted of the ripest of peaches, his hands instinctively moved to wrap aroundher waist in fear he would lose her just as quickly as he had her in his arms. The hidden yearning for her had gone on far too long, that even such a kiss that was rightfully given to him felt as if it was nothing but his minds concoctionand reality would soon pull them apart as it had done so before. Her return brought light back into the darkness he had caged himself in. His brothers happiness with Anne made him question even his own loyalty. Thetreatment the Princess of Listenoise dug deep into his conscience, and clawedhim to fight for her, not out of duty but out of the love he had bore for her in theirtime together. He hadn’t meant it yet his heart spoke of poetry only meant for her.Richard pulled her close to him, their bodies pressed together ignited a fire inhim that he never thought would rage beneath his flesh as it did now. Happinessand lust joined together with tenderness and love. It poured tenfold as he madethe effort to return her kiss. The clear affection and adoration he had for her spokenthrough his kiss and the respect he still carried for her even in such a temptation. With a foolish grin he pulled away, not too soon that he wasn’t able to savor the gentleness of her lips pressed upon his, but soon enough that he was still a manof true chivalry in regards to her. His forehead pressed against hers, eyes locked with hers as if his very existence relied on hers. She was a beauty he could not forget, more so now that he had an opportunity to imprint every detail of her to memory, and not just appreciate from a distance. God she was beautiful. He had loved her the moment he laid eyes on her, and he would love her untilhis last breath. With the alliance formed between England and Listenoise and an agreement of a wedding, there was nothing more standing in the way of their true happiness. Though the importance of his satisfaction would never outweigh of hers. He was content in her presence, and would die a happy manwith just the memory of such a kiss.
“ I take it you are glad, your grace.” He teased before he placed a kiss on her forehead. “I swear you, I will be a good and loving husband not that I am bound to you by duty but because I love you. ”
