Not bad for my first solo macarom attempt. Thanks to @danbeasleyharling and @bakewithalegend for the great class. The method we used to make the shells was so easy, I'm definitely feeling more confident. There are some cracks but they all have feet, so I'm calling it a win. Had a fantastic reunion weekend of the OG SPL library ladies. A 10-year friendship that has seen weddings, babies, job changes and has grown stronger with each year. One day, Library Lakes will be be a reality and we'll see each other every day. Last Sunday, I took a bread class with Chef Syd of @sydsfishpigcafe and we made po'boy buns, lemon pake, skillet cornbread, cornbread muffins, focaccia pizza and a few other delicious items. Ill be taking his next class this Sunday, end o summer sweet treats. I would like to introduce the newest member of the Shaw family. Meet Eiofe (Ee-fa)! She is a Scottish Straight with a tabby and copper coat and weighs all of about 6lbs at almost 3 years old. Forgot to post a bake I did last weekend. Call me a French bake now, I've made my first choux! Sike, I've got a long way to go for that. These profiteroles have raspberry cream cheese mousse inside and topped with a milk chocolate ganache.
