ok i still havent finished rebirth yet but its making me crazy rn
in this game we actually get to see a lot more of Rufus and we really get to see his calculated, ruthless businessman like nature i guess, like we really get to know what kind of person he is moreso than in the first game
but the minute he gets into another battle with cloud, he's back to that cocky arrogant, almost teasing nature that we only really see then, and honestly cloud does it right back (but we're a bit more used to his snark)
#i. i can't. idk what happened to me im a fulltime rufus fangirl but? his interactions with cloud specifically#they are just something else#p sure our first introduction to rufus in remake was the fight with him. we get to know that side of him right off the bat#and then we dont really see it again for a long while

listen i know what they were going for in the rebirth demo with sephiroth calling 'cloud' a puppy, but like. he didn't have to say it like that, with that tone...
#i know its like a zack thing but in the moment...#there were moments in the demo where i had to just say 'stop' out loud they are making sephiroth sexier on purpose and i cant handle it#no heterosexual explanation etc etc
