Can we just take a second to appreciate Tala?
She’s so wholesome. She looks up to the others, but not in such a way that it makes hanging out with them awkward for anyone. It’s a casual dynamic that works in the best way possible.
I find with a lot of “idol-admirer” dynamics, they’re either underdone to the point you don’t understand why the person likes who they look up to, or so overdone that you cringe every time the admirer opens their mouth. The show does a really good job of balancing so that while Tala does look up to her friends and their job, she’s not super over the top about it. She drops comments about things they do being why she wants to also be a go jetter, but doesn’t make it her entire personality.
I do have a slight issue with a few ways she’s written (her dynamic with Kyan is rigid because they don’t talk much) but for a side character she’s actually not half bad.

Hot damn does my posting schedule suck
Anyway I don’t really have anything of substance to post today so I just want to say, why is the truckster such a large vehicle? This is not a deep dive where I answer the question it’s a genuine question I have. I know it’s an off road vehicle but the tyres alone are about 7ft tall???
I get that it’s an off roader and the back can store a ton of stuff (cave train trouble (S3) was a p good showcase of its limits) I just think the tyres are comically large, heaven forbid one of them breaks off and rolls away, it’d probably run several actual cars over like they were toys 😭
In Ronda Reunion (S3) they literally almost struggle to load this thing, because it’s just so comically tall (like driver like car?)
Anyway I’ll post interesting things soon, I just needed to get this off my chest bc why is it SO TALLLLL

I have an obvious and dumb question, are Xuli and Kyan dating?
So an obvious question has an obvious answer, no, there is no canon confirmation of any kind of dating or romance. But…
In terms of actual canon behaviour, I want to go on a ramble on if I personally think they were dating during the show, and if they would date after. As always, the following is nothing more than speculation.
I will tread carefully here, as I am aware that this is a popular ship, and not one I really want to upset any shippers of. This post is going to weigh up both sides of things, so please don’t start drama because it doesn’t align with your opinions personally!
I will first give an overview of my personal opinion, so you are aware of my stances and where any subconscious bias may occur, and then I will give an in depth analysis referring to the show itself. The in depth analysis is headered with larger text, if you just want to skip to that!
So, contrary to what most people might think, I actually have very mixed opinions about this ship. In terms of itself as a ship, I think it works well. There’s nothing super toxic, they get along and have common interests. Their personalities aren’t perfectly matched, but honestly I don’t think that’s a major dealbreaker. My issue comes in with the fact that it doesn’t feel very canon supported, which is sort of understandable due to the shows age group and short runtime.
Xuli and Kyan have an amazing rivalry and friendship in canon, and while I think that might extend into a romantic interest, in of itself it feels ever so slightly like some people just ship them for the sake of it. Like a girl and boy can’t be friends without a romantic involvement almost? I don’t mean this in a way against shippers, but sometimes I look at it through a fresh lens and I can perfectly see them happy as *just friends*.
Do not get me wrong, I do think they work well as a couple, and I want to disclaim that I DO SHIP THEM, I just don’t necessarily find that there’s too much backing in the actual canon show for them together, and it looks just like a girl and guy being friends for all of S1, and half of S2/3.
They have moments of good chemistry, such as Svalbard seed vault, boreal forests intro, and so on. But this isn’t romantic, because a kids show will usually avoid anything that may contain romance for controversy reasons, and to ensure the show can stay rated for everyone in all countries. So my conclusion in terms of my own opinion is that if you just look at canon, they’re friends. But if you add some headcanon and think of things outside of canon occurrences, they work well as a ship. There’s so many scenes where on the surface there’s nothing but when you think about it for too long, yup, they’re dating. They pair well together, they don’t seem to have any incompatibilities, and there’s a massive potential for a life together due to similar styles and interests. Me saying I don’t see much canon instance of them being a ship is not me disregarding the ship. I just like to look at both sides.
Now for the actual deep diving
I want to go in chronological order, starting with season 1. The dynamics are not well fleshed out at all in S1, and that means I can’t really draw much of a conclusion here. The entire team kind of just seemed like a class who just met, which is fitting when you look at canon progression, they likely *did* just meet. If they interacted in S1 dynamic style, I doubt it would have lead anywhere. However, the dynamic does change in the later seasons!
In S2 the team seem warmer to each other, they share more jokes and are in general closer. This is the season where I actually had a few moments I saw that I could possibly consider ship worthy. Such as the G.O flow scenes, boreal forest and so on. They have a slight hitch where Kyans playful competitiveness may not fit perfectly with Xulis more aggressive competitive nature in theory, but in practice this hasn’t really lead anywhere negative for them.
S3 doesn’t expand on them as much as I would have liked, but you get a few more scenes where they are getting along. A notorious one is situated in the end of symbiosis shrinkdown, where the pair who had been absent the entire episode finally show up, stating they were having flying lessons together. Even though Kyan is a competent enough flier, as shown in a few S2/3 episodes. Sounds legit. And totally not like a date. This is one of the things I place under my “no canon backing but if you read between the lines they are totally dating” category. In general, by this point, they know each other extremely well, and that is another grounds to say there’s 100% plausibility behind the dating theory.
So while there is no canon evidence for a date, I totally think there’s enough backing for one to have happened. This may not be the most in depth deep dive ever, but I’m still recovering from a lot of stuff (hence the absence) so I’m adjusting to big posts again haha

I keep trying to post and it keeps not posting Oml where are my posts going can someone go find them I think they’re in narnia now 😭
Anyway. Dynamics. 2.0. Because the last one got like no engagement so clearly that means everyone is loving my work and I should continue.
I’m going to work methodically here because otherwise I’ll forget someone/something so another Kyan dynamic bc those are fun, specifically Kyan and Lars because that’s the order I have the characters in on my little chart thing I’m using to make sure I cross everyone off.
My opinion is that they honestly get along really well, and it’s, at least in my opinion, one of Kyans strongest dynamics, considering he doesn’t interact with Tala canonically much, and him and Foz still have their tensions. They don’t compliment each other amazingly on missions seeing as their skills are pretty different (there is exceptions, such as S:2E23: Hurricane Rescue where they work together to go save Xuli from her own poor choices (/hj) and S3:E40 Funky Fireflies where Lars uses his size to counter weight the boat turning it into a launchpad for Kyan to get height from) but they voluntarily spend a LOT of time together. In S3 specifically they’re given a lot more screen time where you get to see their casual dynamic. Unlike with Kyan and Foz where it’s for each others personal growth, or Kyan and Xuli where they hang out to compete with each other, these two genuinely just like being around each other. In S3:E21: Ghost Crabs, they can be seen racing, and it’s implied to be a thing that happens every morning. Which is cute! And in S3:E29: Ronda Reunion, they go camping together (alas we never see this). They seem to compliment each other as two people who both don’t mind getting dirty and lean towards being outdoorsy. They don’t seem to have much tension or many issues shown in canon, unlike every other dynamic, although I’m going to choose to attribute this to the fact that they didn’t explore this dynamic heavily until later in the show, and NOT to the fact that they don’t ever have problems or argue because that’s not normal or healthy. Lars was NOT a well fleshed out character until late S2-S3, and kind of lagged behind the rest of the cast as some kind of NPC almost, so most of his dynamics are going to *seem* healthier simply because there was less time to explore them.
(As I said, mini post because I (AM TRYING TO) upload multiple a day!)

Let’s talk about dynamics
The click on post is coming but it’s been a while bc I thought I posted yesterday but apparently *I did not*
Anyway
I want to do a few posts throughout the next few days discussing dynamics between characters. Please request them. I don’t know how to start otherwise. Duos or trios!
Or rather I will start with one I like possibly the most. That being Kyan and Foz. They’re polar opposites in almost every way, yet get along arguably the best out of most friends in the show. Kyan is a boisterous, athletic superstitious kid who loves mythology and stories. On the other hand, Foz appreciates academics more, he is more polite and timid, loves academics and tends to dislike fantasy, much preferring fact.
Yet somehow, they get along extremely well.
This relationship was first given a proper chance to bloom in S2:E2: Matterhorn, where despite Kyan being somewhat dismissive of Fozs fears, and Foz returning with somewhat irritable remarks about him going too fast, Kyan fully enabled Fozs confidence to start developing.
Kyan seems to bring the best out in Foz, constantly making sure his self esteem and confidence are high. Foz, in return, is happy to spend time around Kyan, and go out of his comfort zone to partake in activities which he would not normally in order to spend time with him.
They get along surprisingly well for people so polar opposite, even if it does seem slightly strained or unreciprocated at times. They tend to cover each others weaknesses and compliment each others strengths in such a way other dynamics don’t do. They won’t be perfectly interested in each others specialities but that’s okay, because they genuinely do care about each other.
In the show they aren’t given much time together on a team, but in a way I feel that it was for the best. In the least comedic way possible, they would be too powerful as a team. They cover an insane amount of range when it comes to their skills, and between the two of them, won’t find many issues that they can’t use either intellect or muscle to surpass. Sure they might have arguments due to how their personalities clash, but in terms of skill, they’re a perfect pair. Foz can formulate plans and figure out solutions, while Kyan can put them into action when Foz may otherwise be too weak or untrained to.
It’s not just professional either. In several canon instances, Foz and Kyan are shown willingly keeping each other company. Their friendship is genuine, and while I don’t know if it would have formed if they weren’t on a team, I have a feeling it’ll last long after it. They have both been essential in each others lives, helping the other with maturing emotionally.
This is a mini post but I am intending on doing multiple of these a day for every dynamic, so I can’t go into long amounts of detail. I can elaborate further at a later date though!

Sorry for no post, family emergency last night! Back to normal scheduling!
So I was kind of out of ideas for today’s post, n then I had a small moment of genius. Rather, I had an idea for a massive post but instead I want to just do a surface level analysis for now before I go in depth in the post after this.
If you are unfamiliar with the show, please have this page open for reference, specifically about the images and how each one of these looks! Created by the wonderful people over at the wiki.
Soooo
Click ons.
For anyone who has stumbled across this and actually is not aware of the show or what these are, they’re summonable gadgets that the team use to help them solve problems/“missions” in the show. I’ve personally found the name a little cheesy (in the same way that the main villains name was “glitch” haha) but the actual concepts are not bad. Assistive technology that can be remotely applied to a person to assist them in certain tasks. Some are general use, others dependant on who is using them.
Part of me questions how these work; while the obvious seeming answer is that they are simply manifested or summoned from a void, because they teleport onto the person summoning them, this doesn’t appear to be the case. In S1:E51: Nazca Lines, the boys can be seen complaining about having to clean the click ons, which are situated semi haphazardly in jetpad. In S1:E36:Tarbela Dam, the team actually manage to misplace a click on. It’s also shown in this episode that a click on can be operated by someone who is not a go jetter, or affiliated with them. This indicates to me that they are in fact simply physical objects that can be teleported. Exactly how is unknown, but the show also has a 10ft+ anthropomorphic unicorn who was confirmed to *not* be a man in a fursuit, so I don’t think everything is supposed to make sense somehow.
There is 16 total “click ons” with 4 being speciality (G.O Dive for Xuli, G.O Jump for Kyan, G.O Fix for Lars and G.O Giant for Foz) that cannot be used by other people, although some exceptions to this rule are present. In S1:E39:Great Barrier Reef, the entire team is using a form of diving suit, although it is not a full body suit like the G.O Dive model seen on Xuli. In S3:E8: Lars is able to equip G.O Giant, but is unable to utilise it, and eventually has difficulties removing it due to it being created for someone of far smaller stature. In S3:E41: Pirate Peril, Lars is successfully using a modified full body G.O dive, with markings different to the original model. I would also hypothesise that while it would be unsafe due to not being trained to use it, G.O Fix can be used by anyone, as the user simply holds it like a power tool. It does appear to have the handle situated in a position where the users arm is slightly inside the unit, but that wouldn’t prevent users other than Foz attempting to use it.
The other 12 are able to be used by anyone, with the exception of G.O Vac being a two person instrument. You need a license to be able to use them on your own, although this seems relatively easy to obtain, seeing as many cadets/students are allowed to wield them. It is to be noted that the shows main antagonist grandmaster glitch did fail at least one of these licensing tests, shown in the previously mentioned Tarbela Dam episode, where he operates G.O Force without his license, stating he never got it.
It can also be noted that these devices will be modified and altered over time, as primitive versions of them can (see: could, it collapsed) be found in the ancient dome seen in S2:E29: Map Readers.
I won’t write anymore because I plan to do an in depth post, I just didn’t want to do nothing for three days 😅

I’m sorry about being late repeatedly, I’m sick atm and it sucks
Anyway, first of all a little side note, please don’t be scared to interact with comments or messages, esp about fandom stuff, I don’t bite! It gets lonely.
Onto the actual post matter for today. How famous are the go jetters actually? (In universe!)
I will NOT be focusing on Tala, as she is not part of the main team, or Ubercorn, as he is not a go jetter, but their mentor. They’ll come up, but this isn’t about them.
With that said, onto the rambling!
I will first bring up Ubercorns fame as a point of reference. In S1:E9, Lambert-Fisher Glacier, ubercorn has a golden statue in his name unveiled. Typically that doesn’t happen unless someone is *very* influential. The team members themselves do not have statues, however. I don’t think this means they’re not famous though, as they seem to be able to access a lot of opportunity that someone with lower influence may not be able to do. And members of the public are shown to recognise them when they’re out.
Not only this, but certain episodes seem to paint the cast as at least somewhat famous? In S3:E2: Hollywood, Kyan is a stunt double in a Hollywood production. That’s not something you get to do and NOT be recognised for, and I think the same can be said for the others and their exploits. For example some of Xulis flying feats would at least be recognised by other hobby pilots. So if nothing else they’re famous in their respective fields.
Another thing to note, is that they would be making TV appearances, both on the news and in interviews, which I do think would capture older audiences, or audiences that don’t interact with any specific field or media.
I also think social media would to some degree increase their reach, whether filmed by other people, or themselves, as social media is incredibly influential. Its ability to put people you don’t even know on your page is invaluable in giving already small celebrities more reach. Anyone who interacts with similar content will stumble across more pages about it.
Xuli has to put those selfies somehwere. And I think the others would probably like to post stuff about what they do as well, even if it’s not related to go jetting. And in the grand scheme of the global population, it really doesn’t take that many “followers” to be famous, and that’s WITHOUT being the student of a unicorn with millions of fans and a golden statue. His status probably boosts theirs, in the way people really like celebrities kids or friends.
Another thing I want to point out is they are pretty famous at the academy. Theyre shown as “above” the other student body, in the language used (go jetter/cadet) and the uniforms, the cadets listen to anything they say (S3:E1 Honeybee hijack shows the cadets listening to commands, and Talas character all through S3 shows there is in fact a distinction between cadet and go jetter), and tend to look up to them/follow them (S2:E34: Mudslide shows this to some degree) and so on. It’s even shown in the likes of global gameshow (S2:E49) and geo challenge (S3:E34) that cadets are willing to spend spare time watching the team doing things. In the latter mentioned episode, there is also sizeable posters with art of the team on, that wouldn’t exist if they were just other students.
Tumblr media
(Forgive the subtitle shown I can’t watch without them and I forget to take them off for screenshotting 😭)
They appear to be pretty well known, and I think if nothing else, I’d say they’re about C list celebrities or better? I don’t think they’d all be equally well known, having said this, due to the differences in their personalities. A cool pilot who takes selfies everywhere will have more traction online than some guy who does science (although I’d bet he’s a lifesaver during exam season).
I might go into more detail on this if wanted, not directly after this post, but I don’t want to make this post too long. I do this in my spare time after all, and I don’t really use any help such as AI or other people like other analysis content creators for other fandoms sometimes do, so it takes about half an hour to get all the stuff together for each post, and for the amount of engagement they get (not an issue, it’s a small fandom and I’m new!) I just can’t afford to put more in at the moment, I have a lot going on in the next two weeks or so haha. Once that’s over I’ll be going into MUCH deeper detail
Just curious if you’ve made it this far, what would you like more of on this page? I have a poll below, if it’s expired when you see this, feel free to request it in the ask a question part of this blog!

And for my second act (post because I forgot yesterday)!
What happened at glitch’s time at the academy? I’ll be going through my speculation in a roughly follow-able order!
From official sources, we know he was a student there and was expelled. We do NOT know what subject he studied, as his uniform is a design that is not prevalent in the modern day academy.
We also know that he absolutely did not do his homework, but honestly I can’t blame him, geography homework sucks. I say this as a geography nerd. Please stop making me measure the distance of the hiking trail I just want to talk about typhoons. Anyway.
There’s nothing super official on his time at the academy, just a few shots in some episodes of him as a kid. But what those do tell us, is that he was an accident prone kid, who still very much got into trouble. He also had a knack for inventing and creating things.
The following is all speculation and theory; it is NOT canon information.
One possible cause for his expulsion could be the above mentioned habit for invention. A lot of what he meddles in tends to break or become a hazard. He may just have simply been too much of a liability to keep at the academy, seeing as they work with high stakes missions and valuable monitoring equipment.
Another possible cause could have been, well. The missed homework. And classroom behaviour. All the things that caused him to be classified as a “bad” student. If you don’t do the work, you can’t be surprised that the space in the academy is assigned to someone who can actually use it.
The third theory I have combines the above two. He could have very possibly been too busy meddling in modifying his own inventions to be focusing on academy work, meaning he was expelled for simply not being present enough, due to this infatuation with his inventing, and then replaced with a student who deserved the spot more.
It’s clear he still to some degree envies the academy. His suit is an imitation of the go Jetters suits, he has imitation click ons called glitch ons, and his vehicles are imitations of academy property. He wouldn’t do this if he was completely angry at the academy, so to some degree, his expulsion was probably justified.
During his time at the academy, he was incredibly close with ubercorn, who 100% was seen as the more “perfect” one. I can’t imagine that made him look any better. He DID however, save himself and ubercorn from various “sticky” situations with just his knowledge of fixing things. Which to me, fortifies my third theory from the above, that he wasn’t necessarily a super bad kid who did one big mess up, but rather just wasn’t associating with the actual academy work and was replaced with someone else due to his love for doing his own inventions, not the academy assigned work.
Another point is that he failed SEVERAL tests and does not have permission to use most of the click ons. This may be another reason he wasn’t allowed in, and another pointer to my theory that he simply was not paying attention to the assigned work. You know how sometimes you’re just in a lesson and instead of doing the work you’re thinking about doing the subject you’re really looking forwards to? I honestly think it was just this. He would have been right at home in a school that was focused on engineering, and creating your own ideas to experiment with, but the go jet academy, while offering that as a focus, MAINLY focuses on geography. Messing up on an invention and not following the script can put everyone in danger.
To summarise:
I think glitch was actually a good student, just not for the go jet academy. I think his love for inventing, and his willingness to discard the rules and ignore other work to do so, is ultimately what lead the academy to expel him. His work style did not fit in with the preciseness needed for the academy.
His skipping of the actual set work in the school in order to go play with his robotics, may also explain why he doesn’t understand the ramifications of his glitches and why he can’t disassemble landmarks. He never learned that Stonehenge was more than a pile of stones, or that bees can’t survive in Antarctica. Because he was preoccupied self learning the things HE wanted to learn, because the academy couldn’t give him that.
This is NOT justifying him ignoring the academy work, but rather a theory on why he is the way he is.
I might do more elaboration on this, I might not. I’m not sure. But take this for now.

Hello! I know we can get a rough estimate of Kyan’s height from the Grand Canyon episode, but how about the other characters?
I forgot to post yesterday so you’re getting two back to back
Honestly the answer to this is a little boring. And most of it is estimation. But I do have a certain ramble about “impossible heights” I tend to go on when this is brought up.
You can estimate from some details given in S1:E32 that Kyan is under 2M in height. Given the language used and his scale to most adults, it’s safe to estimate ABOUT 5ft 4in.
I would estimate Xuli to be very close to this, seeing as they’re almost the same height in the first few episodes, then the same past then, if Kyan isn’t SLIGHTLY shorter. So Xuli is probably about 5ft 5in or 5ft 6in.
There isn’t really any other concrete reference for *heights* but we do have something to go off.
In S2:E28:Wolong Panda Reserve, Fozs weight is implied to be no more than 19KG. This does give me some scale of how large he should be, combined with how he scales against backgrounders and their implied ages. I would assume that despite his age being implied to be preteen, he is about the size of a 5-7 year old in canon. Anything taller and he would be so severely underweight it would not be safe to operate as a go jetter, as he would have other physical abnormalities or conditions making him weigh so little, and likely as a result probably also making him frail. This would make Foz about 109cm (source: BMI for each age, a 5 year old typically weighs 19kg, and is normally 109cm), or about 3.5ft to 4ft. He could be a lot taller, but I personally would put a hard limit at 5ft, anything above and his physical weight would not be healthy.
His height is very likely attributable to a medical condition that is preventing his growth, because although he’s canonically younger than the rest of the team, I doubt he’s under 10, and if he’s above 10, there’s 100% something causing him to weigh so little.
This method of scale does raise one issue, however. Due to how the show is animated, certain characters end up seeming VERY tall compared to others. Lars is the obvious point to start with, because he’s pretty tall. I’d estimate that Kyan is about 2/3rds of Lars’ height in MOST animation (it can be hard to gauge bc of how they stand!) which means that :
2/3 of X is 162cm
That means 1/3 is 81cm
And 3/3 is 243cm
That implies Lars stands at about 8ft. Which is PROBABLY not right, unless he has something along the lines of gigantism or hyperpituitarism, which is a condition which means your body produces too much of the stuff that makes you grow, which is unlikely because that can be identified and treated in your childhood, and isn’t *typically* left to the point someone grows this much, although it is possible, just not to this extent. Unlike certain conditions like dwarfism that make you develop shorter, and tend to be prevalent in about 1/25,000 of people, gigantism, which is the condition where the person grows abnormally tall (above 6ft in childhood) is FAR rarer and only prevalent in about 2/1,000,000 of people.
The animators stylistic choices mean it’s hard to get an exact scale based on maths.
And if Lars turns out to be 8ft by this logic, let’s not even consider how tall ubercorn is. The idea of a 12ft+ unicorn walking around is HORRIFYING (which is about what he would be, if Lars is about 2/3 of Ubercorns height)
So as underwhelming as this is, there doesn’t appear to be a clear way to know what height anyone who ISNT super close to Foz or Kyan in height is, UNLESS the height on the team genuinely does vary that much.
I would wager a bet/guess that Lars is closer to the late 6ft/POSSIBLY 7ft flat mark. Which is still impressive, but more likely than him being 8ft.
Sorry for how underwhelming this conclusion is, but there’s not too much to go off of, and this isn’t a headcanon post.

Could you post something about where you think the current academy is at?
Aaaand I’m late
Anyway. Good question.
In terms of the canonical universe, there’s not too many hints. The academy hosts students of almost every nationality, so it’s not like you can only go if you live in that area. It’s also on an island, with no mainland in sight off any side. Which means it’s in the ocean. (Duh)
While I was researching for this I looked at a few of the academy episodes, specifically S2:E5: Artificial Reef, S2:E23: Hurricane Reacue and S2:E47: Volcanic Island. All of these episodes take place in and around the academy island, and give us key details about it.
First of all: Artificial Reef. This gives us two key pieces of information, which are sort of the same. First of all, the water is at least of a comfortable temperature, Xuli seems to make a hobby out of diving on its coasts. Given she has the ability to fly to better waters if she needs to, it shows that the water is both calm and warm enough to be pleasant. It also shows the academy island can natively grow coral. While this can happen in various places in the world, certain areas are more likely to have it, specifically tropical waters, which occur between 35o north and 35o south latitudes. Which has already narrowed down the potential waters, as now we know it can’t be in the arctic circle or temperate waters, such as the North Sea.
Second of all, Hurricane rescue. Fun fact: Hurricanes, Cyclones and Typhoons are virtually the same thing, with the only difference being that it forms in a different location. The characteristics of these three phenomenons are actually identical! This information gives us some valuable insight, as the academy was close to a *hurricane*, so it has to be at least somewhat nearby the areas that those form. Meaning the americas/Pacific ocean. It doesn’t necessary mean it’s super close to these, simply that it’s within a distance that jetpad could have travelled in the short amount of time shown in the episode. This information rules out. I’ll attach an image below about where the various types of storm develop and the naming of them, both for reference and education.
Tumblr media
Finally I will address volcanic island. It gives us a vague yet important detail, that the academy has volcanic activity. For those of you who follow this blog and didn’t pay attention in geography (hey I won’t judge, I had a geog teacher who sucked and it felt like listening to a grandma talking about knitting patterns half the time) what this means is that the academy falls on or around a tectonic plate boundary. See, tectonic plate boundaries are where the “plates” that the earths crust is made up of meet. There is debate about the amount of plates, but there’s at least 7 major ones. The edges of these plates will sometimes move and clash, causing earthquakes and volcanoes to form. The closer you are to the middle of a plate, the safer it is. You’re unlikely to have an earthquake in the UK, for example (although it has happened!). The academy has underwater volcanoes on its coast, Indicating to me that it’s very likely near a plate boundary. I’ll attach an image below of the major plates and their boundaries to give you a better idea.
Tumblr media
So all of this to say, there’s a few locations it could be. But the most likely is somewhere around the boundaries of the nazca, cocos, pacific, African or Australian plate boundaries. If I personally had to choose, I’d say it’d be on the pacific plate, between the americas and Eurasia (where the two sides of this above image meet.
Anyway, sorry for the late post, busy day. Cya all tomorrow!

So. Time to actually post something relevant
When actually is everyone’s birthday?
Birthdays! Everyone has them (mostly, some cultures do not celebrate and that is valid!), you have some cake and presents, go out somewhere cool or whatever.
But we never get given exact dates for the go Jetters birthdays. Or anyone else on the show.
So like any normal person I spent ages stalking every episode for details in order to guesstimate where everyone’s special day may fall! And this was what I found, in no particular order:
Tumblr media
In S3:E19: Istanbul, Glitch is seen placing a calendar in the first few seconds. This calendar has 31 days. On it he marks everyone’s important birthdays, meaning his, his niece Talas, and the bears. Glitchs birthday is celebrated in S1:E35: St Basils Cathedral, which was released in September 2016. (For my own sanity I will assume this specific birthday fell in the release month, but I will not follow this logic for anyone where more concise evidence of their month is prevalent). On the calendar shown, glitch marks his birthday on an off coloured square, meaning it fell on the last day of the PREVIOUS month. This means I can assume that Glitchs birthday falls on the 30th of September. Probably somewhere in the mid-late 1900s.
Looking at this same calendar, we can assume the month shown is in fact October, due to the above information. This makes it easy to count the dates shown, and see that Talas birthday falls on the 29th of October, probably somehwere in the late 2000s, as implied by her being a student of Fozs age.
Now I’m moving on to the birthdays which were a little harder to figure out. Starting with Ubercorns. Ubercorn and Lars have the same issue, they have an explicitly mentioned episode that is their birthday, but they do not line up with the release months due to evidence shown on screen. Making my life a little harder. As a result, I couldn’t give you an exact date, but I can give you frames.
Ubercorns birthday episode is S3:E51: Birthday Surprise. It is also the last episode of the show. In it, the main team do a lot of preparation to make their mentors birthday perfect, but rely on some help from the now reformed grandmaster to help. There isn’t too many identifying details in this episode to show when his birthday occurs, but I hone in on a few key points:
The team is out when it’s dark. Nouveau also is still awake. This implies it’s at a time of year when it gets dark early-ish, because if it was summer, it wouldn’t be dark until about 10pm, which is too late for everyone in the academy to be awake.
Kyan, Foz and glitch use cherry blossoms for decoration, which only bloom in a tiny window, between the end of March and start of April
Using these key facts, I can ROUGHLY narrow down Ubercorns birthday to be between the 20th of March and 7th of April. Where you put it exactly is down to personal opinion. The year would be the same as grandmaster glitchs, they were in the same class
Lars is the last character to have ANY mention of a birthday in canon. He gets a whole episode (S2:E52: Sami Reindeer Herding, Norway), yet no mention of a date! For a while myself and others in the fandom just assigned December the 6th to be his birthday, because that’s when the episode dropped (sort of). However recently I decided to look into it properly, and find the “actual” date. Which while it was tedious, was not hard. For his birthday, ubercorn heads over to Norway to see the conclusion of the Sami reindeer herding (spring) season. I am going to assume this was in 2021, seeing as they were allowed to travel, but the episode happened in 2020, so it may well have been then. The CONCLUSION of the Sami reindeer herding isn’t well documented information, especially after 2020, and I can’t really find much on the exact date online. But the date it concluded on in 2019 was the 24th of April, and it was on the 25th the year after (source: visitnatives.com, specifically the part on the reindeer herding). This means logically you can narrow down his birthday to the 23rd-25th of April. Although the day the herding concludes can vary extremely, I cant account for every small detail. The year would probably be in the early 2000s, and the same can be assumed for Xuli and Kyan, but not Foz, as he is years younger canonically.
As for the other 3, there is no canon dates, episodes or mentions. The following is all assumptions.
I would like to think that Kyan and Xuli both have birthdays in the summer or winter. Any time when there’s a holiday that the academy would NOT be operating in. I’d say July and August, but you can stretch for it to be in any month that a national holiday falls in.
As for Foz, I honestly don’t know that he would want a massive acknowledgement. He’s outgoing but also a little shy at times. He may well just not really mention when his birthday is so people don’t make a massive fuss, I know a few people like it.
Anyway, that’s all I’ve got in me for now. As always, ask questions if you want me to analyse something else like this.

So uh. Introductory post!
I’m Lumi, I have ASD and I analyse media more than I should.
I don’t use tumblr much but I want to get into it. Mainly because I associate with “dead” fandoms (mainly the go jetter one, which will be what this blog focuses on) that don’t see much content. I usually post a lot of analysis and rambling, but I do it in the unofficial discord, which doesn’t have the same reach as an actual blog would! Hence why I’m moving here, so a lot of my work can be seen and hopefully enjoyed.
I will preface by saying I am an older teenager, and as a result, while I will try to keep this blog child friendly, the odd profane word or topic may come up.
I’m actually not an artist. I just thought that’s worth noting because literally everyone else in the go jetter fandom has crazy impressive art talent. I lean more towards the “noticing obscure information” side and the occasional headcanons/oneshots. Aka wordy things. If you ask me to share thoughts or something I will almost always try to make a meaningful post about it, with some exceptions (18+ because the characters are CHILDREN, super heavy subject matter because I’m trying to keep this lighthearted, and anything illegal obv)
Oh also I lean HEAVILY towards S2 and S3. I’m sorry about that, the animation on S1 just kind of is a little hard on my eyeballs.
So uh. Enjoy? And shoot a message with a prompt/question if you want to see an analysis on it! (E.g “(names) personality, what are your thoughts on (EP No.)” and so on)
