I think the CDLR might be one of the prettiest trophies in football. It just has such a classic trophy look with the nice details. I’m sure there are some niche ones I’m missing but, from the top of my head, it’s my favorite aesthetically.

What would it take to get Montse sacked??. We lost so horrendously in the Olympics and that should’ve been enough but of course they have to keep their corrupt inner rfef circle

think about what it took to get vilda sacked: a complete international sexual abuse scandal along with fifa pressure to get rid of rubiales and vilda because spain was going for the world cup 2030 bid.

montse has also shown that she is a loyal rfef stooge, and so there's really no inside pressure to get rid of her. personally, i think spain would need to get grouped for there to be even a discussion of her being sacked 😤

england's two biggest problems are its 1) lack of consistency 2) mid midfield. depending on the type of england who shows up on the day, it could either be a very good day in the office or a very bad day. england is in a tough group so they can't afford any mistakes.

if you look at england's recent nation league matches, they've had quite an excellent record at home but quite a poor record away. how will that translate in switzerland where they won't be able to channel their strength at wembley? they would need to channel the women's world cup energy. but it's a big question mark. 🤔

i have not been impressed with their midfield at all. they were certainly outplayed in the match against spain. we'll have to see if keira and georgia can hold their own.

also, england better be praying that nothing happens to hannah hampton. because that's a weak gk pool. 😬
