I FUCKING HATE YOU PEOPLE is an interactive multimedia art experience by Sizhen System, an alias of NYT-acknowledged and Academy of American Poets-published poet Nora Hikari. It features a series of AI-generated images of fictional White female US American military soldiers, drawn in an "anime" style, in various levels of eroticism and pornography. The images contain various computer-generated hallucinations of what the image model conceptualizes as "American iconography." A critical element of the images are the ways that the machine corrupts these actual images -- flags, in particular, as well as the distortions which arise in anatomy, increasing over the course of the image series.

Following the series of images is a piece of creative nonfiction writing in the form of a six-page interactive "worksheet", styled as a classroom worksheet for a hypothetical course in "Johnny Jackass’s Introduction to Non-Terminal Thought" and titled "Sizhen System's Curricular Torsion 6: WHO'S AFRAID OF THE CRITICAL THINKING SECTION?" In addition, there is a public Google form which allows participants to submit their answers to the worksheet directly to the artist.

Artist statement: "I made I FUCKING HATE YOU PEOPLE because I fucking hate you people. Your reactionary sentimentalities cause you to refuse to reckon with anything that could possibly expand your consciousness unless you are literally bludgeoned over the head with it. This piece is Not Art. There is No Art contained within this piece. This device is a weapon designed to hurt the reader/viewer. No. This is absolute hysteria. Trump won because Kamala ran an absolutely dogshit campaign. Kamala decided to run Right against a Right Wing candidate. Her goal was to peel off Republicans rather than appeal to literally anyone else. They took people of color for granted in their campaign and decided to run the most right wing Democratic campaign in recent history. Just because you are scared and are screaming at people on Tumblr instead of blaming the Democrats does not mean that Kamala magically should get away with Doing Politics Wrong. She didn't care for your safety - "Trans people, follow the LAW!" - so why should you scream at people who have done more to help you than the Democrats EVER would? People in the US still support progressive policies. Just look at all the pro-Abortion ballot measures that won in states by a landslide that Trump ended up winning. Look at how progressive policies STILL trend higher (and how Kamala decided to not run ANY OF THESE)

Many people are still progressive, and many of them decided not to vote for a candidate who decided to be incredibly right wing, someone who decided that Palestinian lives weren't worth anything. You can bray on about how Trump was worse, but that doesn't erase what Kamala stood for. The Democrats are not your saviors. The Democrats and Republicans represent the interests of the ruling class. They toss the ball to each other every four years to make it look like there's change, but they both pursue the singular agenda of Empire and Capital.

re: right wing shift, the popular vote numbers are currently showing that trump 2024 lost to trump 2020. this looks to be less about a shift in the population's overall tendencies and more that the population was largely disengaged from this cycle.
