being asked a specific writing craft question is so excruciating most of the time i don't know how to turn it over in my head like everything is both a basic grasp of fundamentals but also instinct & the space between that is where i always aspire to situate my writing in so i'm not really sure how to explain it in terms of any of my specific pieces. what if i just wanted to write about a fucked up creature who wanted love, but gets betrayed by human civilization. what if i am this creature what if i'll never have the ability to just tell a story what if anything i'll ever write is self-referential which i guess is all of writing is what if. i know exactly how i approach my writing craft but i'm so shitty at plainly explaining myself that's why i lie & invent & speculate
