“Only The Lonely” - What memories of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s they bring back, nearly 50 years to go, had to believe I will be 71 in May, where does the time go? If you have any song’s you think I should lip sync, let me know. Getting to the coffee shop soon, Paul/PDiddy 🤠☕️👍

Say What!!!
Early today I was listen to music by Aubrey Logan and one of her songs "Gossip" touch me deeply and here is a short quote "If you going to be sayingsomething behind his back, behind her back, behind their back, what are you going to be saying about me?"
Thought really struck me!...What are your thoughts? What do you think?
It was something that I dealt with most of my youth till I went into the service at 17, not from my immdediate family but a lot of my relatives, even to this day, sometimes these thoughts come back.
It seems to me the most deadly weapon ever, is the tongue, for it cuts deeper and wider than anything else and once spoken you can't reach out and retrieve them, they are lauched forever!
Weither your young or old, it cuts deep, a wound as wide as an ocean but yet the healing power of the Father, of YeShua and the Holy Spirit enables us to forgive and forget and nothing else can!
Please, your thoughts family and friends,
Paul

By Faith
Sitting on the porch, oil lamp lit, soft glow and a sense of the presence of the Lord. It seems almost impossible that one can have such peace in the midst of so many things going on.
Yet that is exactly the way things have been in my life lately. The Lord enables me to live and walk in the real world, not as some “spiritual giant” who never has any “problems” with that silly grin on his face,…

Hidden Garden by Paul E. Dawn Jr.
Hidden Garden by Paul E. Dawn Jr.
The other day I spent some time out back, under the arbor. A number of tables, a cozy setting, the coolness of a cloudy day, enjoying a mug of Walnut Springs Blend or you could have a cup tea, a glass wine, or a local brew.
Court Street Coffee Shop is one of those places, where a lot of people in the area, don’t realize the treasure that they have in this coffee shop. Coffee, Salad Bar,…

Ponderings From My Journal
Ponderings From My Journal
“If you would have asked me years ago what I would be doing, the last thing I would have said, was a market place ministry, a ministry of hanging out!! Of listening, encouraging, exhorting others!
Not preaching!! But being who I am in YShua.
It is amazing the number of people, young and old, who just want someone to listen! Hopefully my life reflects a relationship, not religion. Hopefully I am…

It is Amazing! Sitting here at The Rev, the thought “It is good to dwell in the House of The Lord, to dwell in His presence” kept going through my mind and then I realized that Lord was speaking about the here and now, right here in The Rev, I was dwelling in His presence.

You Are Unique, You Really Are!!
You Are Unique, You Really Are!!
Sometimes it is just nice to do nothing, to just enjoy everything around you! A time of relaxing and catching up with my friends and fellow bloggers/writers online, to see how things are going.
I am so blessed by the many friends that Y’Shua has given me through Hill Country Thoughts over the years. I never know what I will experience as I visit each one. I am always touched as I visit, as…

Nothing Wasted!
Nothing Wasted!
It is really good to get out of the apartment. The portable oxygen makes it nice. This will be a temporary thing, while they continue to check things to see how I do over the next month. Just have to use it when I am out and about. While setting at the coffee shop, I can turn if off, only when I am active, on the road, shopping, etc and while sleeping at night.
For a little while…

Pondering Thoughts At The Rev
Pondering Thoughts At The Rev
Well, it is afternoon now, has been good to be here, to see so many friends, The Revhas been packed on and off since it opened. Visited with some friends and as I look out among all my fellow coffee/tea/latte drinkers, I wonder what stories they have to tell! You hear a lot conversations, but you can’t always make them out. A lot of communication going on. Coffee Shops are a crossroad of people,…
