What if

the slow burn is building up to the most anti-climactic identity reveal? Loid and Yor start to realize they have real and deep feelings for each other but feel genuinely bad that they're deceiving the other. Loid might ask Handler to end Operation Strix as he's compromised and Yor might ask the Shopkeeper if she can stay with her family for real and not just for cover. I can see Handler telling Twilight that he needs to get rid of his emotions because the mission is too important to end now. The Shopkeeper might tell Yor to either leave her family or quit being an assassin. Since they both care and respect each other deeply, they could decide that their partner deserves the truth even if it's not the entire truth. On a dinner date, they stop by a park and sit somewhere to talk. One of them starts to ask the other a hypothetical question: "What if I'm not who I said I am? Would you still accept me?"

I'd love an identity reveal that's deliberate and consciously made from their own will as an expression of respect and care for their family. It would show their genuine desire to keep and protect the love and peace of their home.

when I was a little kid at some point I got upset with my parents because I didn't have a crucifix in my bedroom and they did- I was like why do YOU get to be safe from vampires??? you're okay with me getting my blood sucked???? so we took a little trip to the catholic store but the one closest to us was run by a group of nuns that had been moved here from romania. I got a little baby pink cross and this sweet old nun was like 'aww, is this a baptism gift?' and I was like no. I need to be protected from vampires. and she immediately got SO serious and was like 'this is the best one we've got, you'll definitely be safe' and since she was literally from vampire land I was convinced she was like, van helsing. like the whole time my parents had been laughing about how cute my fear was but she literally Knew dracula and was taking my concerns seriously I held this over my parents for so long lmfao

The actors strike is over, GTA 5 was announced, Shrek 5 release date leaked, Legend of Zelda movie was announced, Omegle gets shut down, Ghostbusters Frozen Empire trailer is released, First posters for The Boys S4 drop and Frank Ocean previews new music. Man, November 8th was quite the day wasn't it.
