I never drew Asra before, and I wanted to try out full-illustrations after a long while. Sooo- not so proud of it but i can see the improvement!

You know it truly is incredible the sort of person Asra is. Like in most stories mages are metaphors for human greed, the corruption that power brings etc. In most other stories if a mage brings back the person they love from the dead, if they use magic to do the impossible, they don't stop there. They never stop there. Their lust for power consumes them from the inside out until they are a shell of who they used to be and they are ever reaching for the next step up, for more power. But Asra didn't go down that path. He broke the laws of nature, got his love back, and then was like cool! Time to go back to being a shopkeep and go on little journeys and eat nice bread. He didn't keep grasping for more. Even though he didn't even get exactly what he'd wanted! He didn't get his love back, not really- not when they didn't know who he was anymore. But he didn't try to break the world further to fix that. Instead he met MC where they were and said this is enough. You are enough, just as you are. Even if you're not how I remember you. And then he proceeded to be undyingly loyal to them while asking nothing in return.

Portia definitely rocks the mum bod! Not only is she already a little chubby, she's the one out of all the LIs I imagine having children, and many children at that. I love the idea of her with her family at sea, letting her kids enjoy the travel as much as she does
