Finally whipped up a design for the subject of Theobald's single-minded obsession; Abraxas, Theobald's Feuerengel Quick lore tl;dr cause oh boy - Based on local Swiss folklore of devils, evil spirits and other entities of alpine myth (hey, I gotta do some rep myself) - Ventured down from its mountain lair during Fasnacht (carnival season) in February, leading its own procession of masked figures into nightly revelry. Sometimes whisking away mortals that took part in the festivities, turning them into its entourage of Szlachta servants (pictured in the background) - Entered a covenant with Theobald, professor, occultist and practitioner of hedge magic, the two bonded throughout two decades of its annual visits (he was unknowingly being groomed for a Tzimisce embrace) - Tremere yoink Theobald first, big ol disaster happening when they confront his annual sapio-sexual one-night-stand, messy breakup happens where Abraxas takes half of Theobald's face in the divorce and curses him before disappearing in a burst of flames - Cue 300+ years of these two dramatic bitches not getting over each other, whole Ahab and Moby Dick type shenaniganery, kickstarting Theobald's descent into madness and him becoming the Pyramid's number one Devil Hunter specializing in hunting down Tzimisce and other Fiends (hence the nickname Dragonslayer) - May or may not be in cahoots with a Demon as a master of Koldunic Sorcery but who's to say POV your ex takes half your face in the divorce

Ah, yes, I see you’ve taken notice of the fine knight I keep dangling in a big gilded cage above my evil throne. Quite the pretty little ornament the would be savior makes, wouldn’t you agree~?

What? No, it IS a big cage. That’s- it’s the standard size for a knight’s cage I’m pretty sure. NO I’m not going to invest in 500 square feet of dungeon, it’s ONE knight! I’m pretty sure knights live in hovels in the wild anyways which is basically the same- Look, the cage is quite literally gilded. He loves the cage! He loves obediently preening in the cage! Yeah well, when you capture your own knight you can keep it in whatever size castle you want to, but this one’s mine. Especially since you’re so obviously jealous of me and my cute and awesome knight anyway.
