genuinely makes me laugh that some people see buck insisting that he isn't in love with eddie as the show/writers shutting down buddie bc like... have you ever watched any tv ever.

did you watch new girl and were surprised when jess and nick kissed because they had both stated that they only liked each other as friends.

did you watch friends and think ross was telling the truth when he said he wasn't in love with rachel anymore for the hundredth time.

did you watch brooklyn nine-nine and hear jake say he totally wasn't into amy and just take that at face value.

eddie's weirdness about buck is more subtle but you can see it in the things he chooses to withhold from him. obvious example is making buck chris' guardian and keeping it a secret (???) and only telling him when he felt like he had to. then keeping it a secret from buck that he was going to move to el paso. then keeping it a secret from buck that he had gotten the job in el paso. it's not the actions themselves that are weird but the fact that he withholds these things specifically (while they tell each other everything else) means that hes AWARE. he knows he treats buck like his partner so then when he makes a big life decision without him he keeps it secret from him like a dog hiding a toy it destroyed. AND he's such a hypocrit, because when buck gives him a taste of it by getting a dog without telling him, eddie is so floored that buck would make a big life decision without telling him. like girl look who's talking! he's trying to have it both ways, have the partnership but also make decisions unilaterally. and hey... doesnt that sound really familiar? doesn't that sound like exactly what shannon said about him when their marriage was falling apart? shout out to my friend eddie who treats his boybestfriend the way he treated his ex-wife.

I have news okay so I have a friend who works in retail in nashville we both live there it’s a whole thing anyway so she said the costume designer for 911 nashville came in doing returns (they had to show her receipts for the returns & it was a 911 nashville costuming email acc w/ a bunch of official paperwork the receipts were stapled to) and apparently the designer is trans !! she was returning outfits for “pedal tavern girls” (written on the paper the receipts were stapled to)
