"American aerospace sovereignty"?
Wonder how the real Sovereign of aerospace feels about that.

So backward!
Lose the theocrats. America was founded as a democracy; not a theocracy.

Well, one had hopes.
I will never stop citing 1 Corinthians 1:20 -- traditionally employed as a "clobber passage" against LGBTQIA people -- to affirm that LGBTQIA people are fearfully and wonderfully made by God to be exactly the way they are. LGBTQIA-ness is in their very DNA.
All you need is 1 Corinthians 1:20 and a microscope to prove it.
As for the inherent dignity of the unborn, the Holy Father's terminology is more vague here. Again, I believe that the Bible is the ultimate authority on what initiates and constitutes a "human".
Genesis 2:7 says this: "Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."
So, a human is a human FROM THE FIRST BREATH, for you folx in the back.

When both political parties rock this nonsense, maybe the best thing to do is re-register as a political independent.

Let us not forget that many of these Indian residential schools were established by Christian denominations.
It is incumbent on us as followers of Jesus to work with Native tribes to restore as much of their culture, their financial assets, and their original homelands as possible.

This white supremacist administration cannot erase the shameful history of Indian residential schools by omitting to acknowledge the U.S. government's role in establishing and growing the system.
This white supremacist administration cannot erase the handwritten records, committed to paper by the children torn from their biological families and their tribes, and forced to replace their tribal customs with generic white ones. Native kids were beaten to death in those schools for daring to practice Native traditions. It happened.
We won't let you forget.

Above, two stories from the Associated Press, two contradictory ways of viewing the papacy.
We reject Donald Trump's framing, and wholeheartedly support the vision set out by Augustine of Hippo.
Praying SO hard rn that Pope Leo XIV seeks and follows the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every second of his papacy.

From the article:

We condemn this filth as un-Christian and unbiblical, and we call on all Christians to do the same.
Here's what the Bible says about attempts to convert others:
"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:44)
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
"And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet." (Matthew 10:14)
As for how you're supposed to live out the Great Commission in this context, you "Christian" politicians ought to try living by example instead of smirking at the neo-Nazi hate crime epidemic in your districts.

Brian Burch, for those wise faithful not keeping track, is Trump's pick for US ambassador to the Vatican, and currently, the CEO of the CatholicVote website.
From the article:

Then there's this:

"Lavish parties"? Influence peddling? Who even goes to these things without feeling at least a twinge of embarrassment?
Oh, wait! It says who.

How about, "The meme was profoundly offensive while simultaneously being an exercise in free speech that's protected by the First Amendment"?
Why don't we see the Shepherd's fearlessness from the shepherds of the Church?

If you think this isn't the goal of the politicized, far-Right flank led by White supremacist, Steve Bannon, you'd better think again.

Faith is not what you wear; it's how you behave. Christianity is the practice of following and living out the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Everything else is Christianism. You don't get to heaven just by wearing the team jersey.

Wow. And you're actually entertaining these secular, Christianist wheeler-dealers, you cardinals?
Here's some insight from this piece that Americans, bone-weary of presidential politicking, will recognize immediately:

Bannon will attempt civility and sanctimony with the conclave, but here in America, he describes his campaign strategy in decidedly profane terms. He says his one goal is to "flood the zone with sh*t".
