ENDANGERED SPECIES (Mona Boa) PLEASE SPREAD!
THIS is the Mona island boa, also commonly known as the Mona boa, He is a small species of nocturnal snake native to Mona island. An absolutely stunning place about 45 miles west of Puerto Rico. He has been ENDANGERED since 1978 due to habitat modification by goats and the impacts of invasive species, like predation by feral cats. Efforts are being made to remove invasive species and help the Mona boa flourish, but we need YOUR help! This is a very important native of Mona island and it’s important that WE ACT NOW in spreading information about this little known species. Don’t like snakes? Not a lot of people do, but they’re vital parts of our ecosystem and help maintain an important balance to the food web! And you have to admit.. He’s pretty darn cute. PLEASE HELP SPREAD THIS MESSAGE! Save these adorable fairy-tale looking creatures!
