Looking for a New Discord Group? { closed }

Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, by far the “safest” place a demigod could spend their time. Whether you’re a child of Zeus or of Zelus, Apollo or of Ares, you are welcome here. And with the dangers lurking just outside our borders, it’s good for you to come now rather than later. Monsters make meals of most everyone who doesn’t come here, after all.

Speaking of, one ambitious camper has recently rounded up a group of older demigods who satyrs never found. This group, aka the Newcomers, is made up of 17 and 18 year old campers who still need the training to survive out there.

This roleplay centers on the Newcomers, the old campers, and what seems to be an ancient Greek cult come to life in this new generation. What will the cult of Hecate do to these innocent campers, and how many of them are actually innocent?

For another twist, while muns will choose the parents of their old campers, they will make a Newcomer character whose godly parent will be assigned by one of the admins. Disappointed with your assigned parent? Make the character disappointed, too! The possibilities are quite endless.

 Rules:

1. No canon characters. Original characters only.

2. At least one Newcomer and one old camper. After the initial two characters, they can be split up however you want.

3. Make your characters interesting! We don’t want copies of canon characters or any Mary Sues floating along. Bring the new and bring the exciting!

4. Keep it close to the mythology as far as parents go. Artemis doesn’t have children, so make sure you remember the maiden goddesses.

5. No OOC drama. In the words of our lovely admin, Sarah, “It ages me and I don’t want wrinkles.”

6. No complaining about the godly parent assigned. We know this is a big twist, but it’s an important one for making sure not everyone is a kid of a major god or one of the typical gods and goddesses.

7. Lastly, there is a limit of one child of the Big Three. In the other words of the immortal Sarah, “I know Zeus is a horn dog but like... keep it creative.”

The Newcomers: A Discord Roleplay Group { closed }

* camp half-blood based *   Another summer, another round of new campers. Typically the campers are young when brought to camp, although a passionate camper decided to make an effort to bring in older campers while they still have the chance to learn how to protect themselves from camp, leading to a larger than normal group often referred to as ‘ The Newcomers. ‘ The newcomers are older in age, and completely unaware of who their godly parent actually is. They may have met along the way, they may have been friends or family. But now the older group of campers must get used to the new faces while the new faces have to get used to the fact that someone around their age knows more than them and has the rights to boss them around.

The newcomers will have assigned parents by me * I will have someone else assign my characters parents to keep it fair *
