The Civilian Conservation Corps had a camp at the beginning of the kephart prong trail, few remnants remained like this old chimney. The CCC was developed in 1933 to provide jobs during the Great Depression

Close to Charles Bunion my friend and I stopped at a clear view to have some food and look at the mountains
