I took this last week when Tom was away but @thenomadbarbershop was rocking! We are really looking forward to the Christmas period in the shop, so make you you book in your appointments ASAP. I'll be on the regular booking system Christmas week, for any of my clients who want to see me. With the way the days fell we would only have been open a couple of days between Christmas and new year so we have decided to have a proper break and close from the 25th and reopen on Tuesday the 5th, book ASAP to avoid disappointment! #thenomadbarber

Part two by @paulyvella just uploading this from the Tarmac of the beautiful Stansted airport haha. This shot was taken at Lake Atitlan as someone quite rightly pointed out on the last post, I wrote that it was in Mexico but that was after a few drinks. Feels good to be home and I'm super excited to see my team @thenomadbarbershop tomorrow. #thenomadbarber

Still here in Lithuania, absolutely loving using my new camera. But I thought I'd break up the images from this trip by uploading some amazing shots taken by my new mate @paulyvella when I was cutting hair in Mexico with @intrepidtravel what a moment to be alive! Oh I only say that because I've been drinking whisky while filming at @barzdaskuciai such a cool barbershop! #thenomadbarber

Testing new formats at the moment to give the videos a new look and feel! Is there anything anyone would like to see more or less of in the episodes? Don't say less of me though 😂 staying at the lovely congress avenue hotel too, would highly recommend if you visit Vilnius #thenomadbarber (at Congress Avenue Vilnius)

Check out the team @thestrandbarbers in Mexico City! David went travelling and found himself in Mexico over 8 years ago and has next left. The dream is to make barbering mainstream again in Mexico using his cool and eclectic British inspired brand! Check out the episode on my YouTube channel which is in the link on my bio #thenomadbarber #liveintrepid

When we were with Raj, this gent completely shaved his head straight off with a cut throat razor, and then his face, crazy how they literally wet his head down and just shave it clean off! The sacrificial shaving of the head in Hinduism is one that amazing me. Just pulled some info together here ; Tonsure (the act of cutting the hair or shaving the head) after the death of an elder member of the family is a age-old Hindu custom. In Hinduism, the underlying concept is that hair is a symbolic offering to the gods, representing a real sacrifice of beauty, hence shaving your head shows your grief for the departed soul. Also, Hair on the head is treated as an adornment and as a symbol of vanity. On the death of an elderly person in a family, the Hindus consider the children of the family not to be egoistic in nature but be humble, devoted and submitted to nature. So they need them to give up their adornment and vanity in humiliation. #thenomadbarber

The man, the legend, Basava Raj! Me and Liam spent time on video call to him before. And while we can't communicate properly, we surely did make him a happy bloke by having a chat! I'm off to Berlin tomorrow and then Lithuania on Saturday for a shotgun visit to @barzdaskuciai to test out my lovely new camera! #thenomadbarber

The money shot! Can't believe how good Mexico and Guatemala is. I have a short video coming out in the next couple of days from the trip! Bring on 2016. I'll be hopefully heading to most continents to find the most unique barbershops! The nomad barber part 2!! Oh and another exciting project in the works too, can't wait to announce that. #thenomadbarber #liveintrepid photo by @pipe_down_piper

As I sat there on the end of the pier, with the trip almost at its end, I thought a lot about life and where it's going to take me. A lot of things are up in the air at the moment but there is a fire inside me which just makes me want to travel and keep creating videos/photos and documenting more barbering! I cannot wait for what 2016 brings, even if it is a little scary to think about! #thenomadbarber

Cutting hair on a small pier of Lake Atitlan at sunset has to be one of the best nomad experiences so far! The sounds and vibrancy of that little area was incredible. It was also unique as my 'what I thought' were fully charged clippers died about 4 minutes into the haircut. Just remember life can always be improvised #thenomadbarber #liveintrepid photo by @pipe_down_piper and model @chaiwalla
