Studio Lan is using IA

Studio Lan recently uploaded this video made with AI (they didn’t even bother to remove the AI watermark). The Link Click fandom is both upset and disappointed about this, and with good reason. Many of us have been inspired by this studio’s art, by the love they poured into the first two seasons of Link Click, and this feels like a sign of disrespect toward the human artists who dedicate themselves every day to creating incredible works of art for the fandoms of the studio’s audiovisual projects.

Personally, I’m very disappointed and hope this doesn’t become a recurring practice or a normalized element in their donghuas. I’ll continue watching Link Click, and yes, I’ll keep loving it because it holds deep emotional significance for me, but if this behavior from the studio persists, I’ll have to reconsider, because human creativity and effort should always come first. Let’s hope that in the coming hours or days Studio Lan addresses this situation, as the backlash online (especially on X) has been considerable.

In terms of character design, obscured eyes are generally indicative of secrets or someone who's putting up a front--quite fitting for our fake-perfect hero, don't you think? It's really interesting to me that this only ever happens with og Nice. Even when Lin Ling was straight up pretending to be another person, he was still being more genuine than Nice ever was. Relatedly, there also aren't any instances of this in Wreck's backstory flashback!
