“I don’t see you calling Dad that when he’s a sap.” Grey laughed. “Point made, now! Let’s play “Haaaaaaave you met your kids?” Once Nina had taken his arm, they started walking between the tables, stopping just in front of the one their mom was sitting in. “Good evening. Are you, by any chance, Clara Quinn? We’ve heard lots about you, we’re…visitors to Walt. My name is Grey.” He looked at his sister. “This is Teddy.”
“That’s because I mutter it,” Teddy stuck her tongue out playfully at her older brother. She nodded and tried not to laugh too hard as she took a breath, watching as they approached their mother. She was petite and graceful, just like Teddy remembered her. As Teddy watched as Grey did all the talking, she took in her mother’s appearance, how they had similar habits, like leaning in when someone would talk, keeping direct eye contact and smiling. That was until she was brought back out of her observation and she grinned. “H-Hi...” She stammered sheepishly.

“She’s always been a doll, Nina. Much like you.” He grinned with a chuckle, finishing up his cup of hot chocolate. “When has a plan of mine failed? Of course…if you don’t count that time, or the others…anyways!” He stood up excitedly, extending his arm to his younger sister. “Ready to meet mom?”
Teddy smiled, carefully reaching over the table to shove her older brother lightly, “Such a sap.” She gave him a look for a moment and breathed out, “Alright, alright, you’ve made your point--I think.” She quickly closed her book and plopped it into her bag and took his arm. “Okay, I’m ready.”

“Grey, look!” Teddy looked up from her book with an excited grin, smacking his arm lightly. “Doesn’t mom look so pretty? And she’s so tiny too. She’s like a doll. Are you sure this plan’s going to work?” @grey-eeyore
