As of the time of this post, AO3 has been scraped by yet another shady individual looking to make a quick buck off the backs of hardworking hobby writers. This Reddit post here has all the details and the most current information. In short, if your fic URL ends in a number between 1 and 63,200,000 (inclusive), AND is not archive locked, your fic has been scraped and added to this database.

I have been trying to hold off on archive locking my fics for as long as possible, and I've managed to get by unscathed up to now. Unfortunately, my luck has run out and I am archive locking all of my current and future stories. I'm sorry to my lovelies who read and comment without an account; I love you all. etho is truly an enigma. doesn't post hermitcraft episodes for 2 months, then comes back with a terraforming video. okay cool, i love hearing etho talk about his builds. throughout the episode he explains that he enjoys adding realism to his builds. yknow the curvature of the river has to make sense

and like sure etho, i dont really pay attention to that but it's a nice detail. hard cut, he's done terraforming and he walks to the lake he was creating and explains "oh yea i added a beaver dam, because i wanted to explain why the river is lower than the lake" and like ???

man goes off on a tangent about beavers, explains that beavers have orange teeth in reality as opposed to the pristine white teeth they have in cartoons, ponders on the fact whether we as humans would choose stronger orange teeth over conventially attractive yet weaker, white teeth. then he explains he's thinking about adding more beaver stuff, a little beaver lodge for the beavers to raise their young, bird nexts ontop of these lodges, a coyote stalking the beavers, fallen trees that the beavers have been chopping down.

then he goes "oh i actually spend some time figuring out how to build beavers" AND THEN

there's even an orange to white gradient on the beavers teeth..

One legitimately weird thing about Tumblr is that we literally can’t code for shit, many people quit working at Tumblr due to a hostile work environment, and we can’t seem to program a simple blogging website to not flood your RAM.

the concept of 'compulsory sexuality' doesn't indicate that society smiles upon the idea of gay sex but indicates that, even in queer spaces (ie, even in non-normative spaces), the expectation and/or assumption of sexual activity as concomitant with a 'relationship' is still oppressive for people who do not experience sexual attraction. like it's all well and good to suggest that we 'work toward' a world in which sex isn't assumed or whatever, but that isn't the world we live in, just as we want to work toward a world in which sex-gender assignment is abolished, but that doesn't mean that describing oneself as 'transsexual' is some kind of unserious statement

and do you think this assumption and societal pressure only negatively effects or is directed at self-described asexual people? what about asexuals who have sex. what about people who "experience sexual attraction" but dont have sex. what about disabled people who cant have sex. is this "aphobia" or perhaps a different social force
