Elena desired every last bit, so she was slightly annoyed when he could hardly stand on his own two feet. Her impatience kicked in and caused her to pick him up by his collar before attaching her teeth with his skin once again.}

"Well you thought wrong." The brunette responded with a smirk. She took in his warning for a second before it went straight out the other ear. It was nothing worse than what she had already dealt with in her life. "Thanks for the warning, Doc but I've been through more than you can imagine, so I think I can handle the stalkers."

He thought she would be smarter than staying on the campus, if it wasn’t safe to her in Mystic Falls, damn sure it wasn’t here on Whittemore College. This city is meant to hold more entertainment than anyplace else and still I find myself inexplicably bored.

"Yeah . . . right." The Gilbert responded in a nonchalant tone of voice. She poured two cups of bourbon and handed it to her reflection. "I know you don't have vervain, so save your empty threats."

"Please." Katherine rolled her eyes. "You think you are my first choice? I’m bored, and I can’t leave, and I don’t like watching movies alone. So come on. Bring something to drink to make it more tolerable for the both of us.”

Elena only mimicked her eye roll, and let out a sigh. "Fine. At least you have a good taste in movies. Let's see bourbon for me, and . . . bleach for you?"
