Free GO Fanfic Idea

I was in the middle of writing chapter 14 for "Where We Belong" until this scene (down below) got away from me more than usual. I pitched the scene idea and original idea to my friend to see which she liked better and, since she doesn't like the word squirmy or parasites, she chose the original idea. However, I don't wanna just get rid of the idea so I thought I'd share it and, if anyone wanted to use it, offer it to them. Like I said, it's just an idea and if inspires anything go for it! All I ask is that if you do use it, I'd like to see what comes of it. I love reading and seeing people's works!

If anyone was curious about the context as to what's going on here (in my story), Aziraphale and Gabriel were performing a ritual of sorts. Gabriel had clasped his hands and begun praying, a way to start the whole "revoking Supreme Archangel status". Aziraphale's concentration broke when he heard Crowley's voice and panic.

Gabriel's grip on his hands increased and he increased his volume, a silent warning for Aziraphale to only listen to him. Aziraphale took a shaky breath, still feeling that squirming sensation wrapped around his lungs and allowed Gabriel's magic to continue its work. The Archangel surrounded him completely once again, Aziraphale's Core and body shivered despite the heat. The atmosphere around them was intense, nearly suffocating. Once all the knowledge was drawn out, Aziraphale felt completely wrung out, but Gabriel did not let go. Instead, he probed deeper. He left Aziraphale's mind and his Light roamed his body. It stung and was completely unwelcome. He hadn't been prepared for it which was why it was no surprise that he felt his lungs burning. The squirming sensation burrowed deeper inside him and into the Metaphysical Plane where his True Form resided. He could see it here, heading towards him and fleeing the Archangel's grasp and call to return. It was a slick and oily black darkness, a true parasite indeed. Aziraphale used all the energy he had (which was nonexistent, so he pushed himself farther. Crowley would scold him for that later) and glowed brighter.

It didn't deter the slimy thing one bit. Gabriel's Light appeared and charged at the thing and consumed it, but it didn't do anything. The thing continued until it was wrapping around Aziraphale's wings, body, heads, and finally his eyes. It oozed and covered him in a thick dark coating. He felt as if he was truly suffocating. He struggled and Gabriel tried to free him, but it was no use.

I absolutely love this idea so so so much it’s gonna live rent free in my head forever now thank you. :}

I wonder how each angel and demon would change if they spent a long enough time on earth. Like if they actually interacted and got to know humans, figure things out without miracles, travel, and live on earth

Maybe they'd start to enjoy things like food, relationships, or music. I could see Muriel trying different kinds of tea, Michael living in a fancy house, Eric getting drive through (while driving the wrong way through), Saraqael miracling permanent accessibility ramps, Gabriel getting drunk, Beelzebub going to concerts, Uriel reading books, Hastur visiting places that aren't dark or musty for once (like the beach), Shax making crazy old lady friends, Sandalphon joining a d&d group, Metatron getting run over in the street, and all of them getting arrested for tax evasion (which they miraculously escape)

How many times would they die because they don't know how earth works, or how many times would they burn down their own houses? How would they adjust to human social interaction, people perceiving them in different ways, and people who are interested in getting to know them, not by obligation, but curiosity?

There's so many POSSIBILITIES

Heaven and Hell may be corrupt, but seriously just take everyone on a business trip, or Aziraphale can dump them all on earth and make them deal

i have no family and no support please help me stay housed idk what else to do

my last post got to over 800 notes so it stopped working i cant pay the rest of my rent im on a medical leave from work and they wont pay the pittance of disability and idk why but rent is due in two days and i get eviction threats in 6 so please help bcuz idk what to do and if i lose my home im on the street no car with a cat and i just straight up wont do that
