"Mad?" He repeated as if he didn't even understand the meaning of the word. He shook his head. "No, I am absolutely not mad. How could I be?"

He was still a bit shaken by the idea, by the girl standing before him being... well, his! But at the same time, somehow, it only made sense. Something about her reminded him of River and not in the bittersweet way most thing did. As if, he was given a second chance at having a family with her, even though, they'd both lost her already.

He gave his new found daughter a large grin he rarely gave to anyone anymore and looked at her some more "You've met some of my other regenerations?" He asked as her comment about recognizing him slowly made its way through his overwhelmed brain.

Aria nodded, placing her hand lightly over his. “That’s all right Dad. I understand. It was a lot to take in for me too. I haven’t seen you in a long time…hardly even recognized you. But…are you okay now? You’re not…you’re not mad or anything?”

Working on replies slowly but surely. My apologies for how long it takes me; I am a rather slow Rp'er in general and this is my secondary muse so I do spend most of my time on my other account. I will try to get a bit faster though.

The Doctor's mouth fell opened and he simply blinked at the lad for a few instants. He had to shake himself to try and see if he was dreaming or not. Looking at the boy, yes, it was definitely possible that he was who he said he was.

"You're Rose's brother."

"Um..." Well, here goes nothing. He prayed he wasn't messing anything up by saying this. "Jackie Tyler."

His smile fluttered for a moment as she mentioned the Brigadier, his old friend was long gone to him and he still felt the regret from not having been there enough. He forced himself to remain in good spirits, right now, in this time there was a young Brigadier who was making UNIT into his image and it was a great thing.

He looked down at the little brunette he had so enjoyed travelling with, his smile turning a little mischievous. "Well in that case, he will not mind if I stole you away for a little while, now would he?" He asked, offering her his arm. "What do you say Sarah, can you humour an old Time Lord for an hour or so?"

“Oh, I’m sure you have.” She said to him, laughing after. “I’m glad you’re fine. But I can’t really help it. I just wanted to know that you were doing alright.” She cared about that man so much, and all she wanted for him was to be okay. Really..

Sarah scrunched up her nose, thinking for a moment, “He’s at the UNIT headquarters right now.. He’s speaking with Sergeant Benton and the Brigadier, I think. Though, obviously, I can’t be sure.” She told him with a smile on her face.

He observed the young woman coming out from behind the wall, his brows coming together in confusion. Something in her voice reminded him of someone long lost but he pushed that thought away as fast as it had come to him. 

"I'm afraid I do not know you, miss..?"

When it came to seeing old faces, Susan never really knew how to react. It’s not even like this guy that she had followed for the past block had a familiar face. He just had a look in his eyes that made Susan feel like she knew him. Which of course, she didn’t. She’d never seen this man before and he wasn’t doing anything strange. The thing was, Susan just followed him; no good excuse as to why.

When he turned around, Susan ducked behind a wall. Why was she hiding? Did she even do anything wrong?

Admitting her defeat, Susan came out from behind the wall and look at the stranger. “Do… Do I know you from somewhere?” She asked.

"I am, thank you," The Doctor replied, observing the woman before him. Something about her seemed odd, somehow otherworldly. "Somehow I forgot that other people roamed these streets this late in the night," he mentioned with a half-smile. "Once again I am quite sorry for walking into you, I tend to be lost in my thoughts."

He blinked at her for a moment, his brows growing closer together. He wondered if the TARDIS' translation circuit was having issues once more since he simply couldn't understand half the words that woman said.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" He finally asked.

Indigo stumbled backwards when the man crashed into her but managed not to fall. “Dude, watch where your going.” She eyed the tall man for a moment, then shook her head. “You know you’re over dressed for this part of town? Pasty, well dressed and what English? you are asking for some homie to mug you.” Clearly this guy wasn’t the brightest, at least he had his looks going for him.. If a girl liked that sorta guy.

"Tony Tyler?" He looked down at him with a raised eyebrow. Could it be? It couldn't. The Tylers were locked up in that parallel universe. This boy couldn't who he thought he was. "Who is your mother, boy?"

The Doctor felt strangely observed. There was something strange in the crisp morning air. He frowned before looking over his shoulder once more. There was no one there and still he felt those eyes on him. He reached into his jacket's inner pocket and pulled out his Sonic Screwdriver carefully. He did a quick scan, as subtly as can be done with the device. 

There! 

He turned on the flat of his feet, pointing in the direction.

"I know you are there. Show yourself!"
