ive known so many “cis” people who’ve told me they thought they might be trans or nonbinary but they dont really experience dysphoria so they felt like they werent allowed to call themselves trans. how many people have had to live their lives in the closet because they were told they werent in enough pain

For the longest time, I thought I was the only one who thought that. Glad to know that the confusion is shared amongst others out there. Being nonbinary and being fine with being called her/they/him can be confusing at times. Some days, she/her fits, other days or even moments, they/them fits, and every once in awhile, he/him fits, at least for me that is. Sometimes being called by a pronoun that conflicts with what I'm feeling at the moment or while I'm in a moment of dysphoria, my brain goes "well, that ain't right....but why?", even if I'm fine with being called a he/they/she/it. Regardless of what specific pronoun I'm feeling like at that moment, I'm still comfortable with being called other pronouns despite the first reaction that society has ingrained upon it's inhabitants to think.

You are comfortable with being called her/they, and there's nothing wrong about it. It's okay to go by both, it's okay to be or not to be nonbinary, to be or not to be demi-female, to be or not to be female or otherwise despite what society says. Fuck the propaganda that society has tried to shove down peoples throats since the mere moment of conception, be who you want to be and how you want to be addressed, present yourself how you want to be presented. You are presenting yourself, no one else is 'you', be as comfortable and questioning as possible as much as you want to be.

I've heard of the term "genderfluid" &/or "genderqueer", so perhaps looking into those might help with finding a more comfortable term for yourself, or at least perhaps point you in the right direction? If all else, it may be a direction to find a better suited umbrella term or perhaps a more specific term that fits. Gender may be a social concept, but it sure as hell is a spectrum rather the "only pink and blue" way society may try to make it seem. Purple exists, fucshia exists, indigo exists, you exist.

I sincerely hope my mini rant of two-cents aids you in your search for the comfort of something that fits, the relief that comes with finding that missing piece. Best of wishes and luck, my fellow questioning peer. ^^

I was just tagged in this "Ray Ban Sunglasses" thing myself. With the first mention, I thought it was neat at first but ignored it to take a look later, then the same poster posted the same exact post at least another 3 more times within the span of an hour or two which is when it started to seem fishy to me.

Don't click fishy links, listen to your intuition if something seems off, reblog this for awareness till it gets fixed. I'd hate to see others fall to phising, let alone anyone getting tagged so repeatedly from a spammed scam.

Okay guys I’m just gonna say this, if you get mentioned in any of these Ray Ban charity event posts. DO NOT CLICK ON IT. It is a phishing website. DO not click on it unless you have the correct add blockers and safety precautions. I’ve gotten mentioned in at least 20 of these at this point, and a lot of them are from people I follow. That is because they have been hacked. They clicked on this link and their account was hacked. Please don’t click on this. I’m just bringing some more awareness to this.

Complete this initial contact form. Please allow 24-48 hours for the mods to process your contact information.

When your initial sign-up has been accepted, fill out the questionnaire emailed to you.

Schedule:

-Nov. 15th - 21st: Sign-ups.             Sign-ups close on the 21st at 11:59 pm (CST)

-Nov. 22nd - 29th: Mods will take a week to sort the assignments. Assignments will be emailed out a week after sign-ups close at the latest. If you have not received your assignment by then, please let us know!!!

-Dec. 24th: Submission Day (according to your time zone)

Please post your entries then! Besides posting your gifts to your blog and @ mentioning your recipient and this blog, we will also be providing a Google form for you to link us your entry (because Tumblr is a flaming dumpster and many of the @ mentions go to the void).
