Obscure Murderdrones Facts #11
Tumblr media
Source: Ep 5 “Home”
Time: 12:50
Visual storytelling indicates Cyn experimented on the Elliot Manor’s crow population before she moved to humans.
In the image above, a clawed appendage protrudes from an assimilating library drone.
Tumblr media
Three forward toes, singular backwards toe, and long, curved claws: this is a crow’s foot. The appendage is a recreation of a crow’s foot.
To account for art style discrepancies, I double-checked with Uzi’s talons in her crow form.

Furthermore, there is a bird cage in the basement where Cyn conducted her experiments. It looks like Cyn put it to its intended use.
Crows make a lot of sense as test-subjects. There are many of them in the surrounding swamp, and their bodies would provide the studies in wing structure required for Cyn to eventually build the Dissasembly Drones.

We see the talons in use in Absolute End, where Cyn uses them as a combat alternative to her human hands.

After all this time, Cyn kept the crow limbs in her arsenal.

Gotta love how after the gala, Khan is supportive but still has no idea what is going on. Like— when Doll breaks into his quarters to steal the keybug, he assumes she’s just another serial killer his daughter invited over and just rolls with it

Obscure Murderdrones Facts #10
Tumblr media
Source: Murderdrones Ep 5 “Home”
Timestamp: 0:29
At the very beginning of episode 5, “Home,” we are given a look at the the Zombie Drones tape, which details the procedure of decommission for Workerdrones.
The Hardware Cleanup graphic displays the machine responsible for disassembling cores. While important to the lore of the absolute solver, there’s something else overlooked.
The mechanism’s ‘arm’ looks strikingly familiar.
Tumblr media
Source: Ep 3 “The Promening”
Timestamp: 9:18
In The Promening, we can see for the first time what Dissasembly Drone arms actually look like in their entirety. V’s prom dress exposes her arms, and using her as reference, a resemblance to the core-dismantling machine becomes evidence.
From the broadened forearm, to the tapering of the upper arm towards the elbow, all the way to the balljoint in the shoulder.
It’s an exact match.
This entails that when upgrading the fleshy prototypes to their final versions, Cyn deliberately chose to incorporate the device responsible for destroying the most important component of Workerdrones. Right before sicking them on all of humanity.
Perhaps it’s poetic justice, perhaps it’s some other intention. But if wearing Tessa’s corpse proved anything, it was that Cyn loves irony.

Oh look. It’s Monday again.
Hello Murderdrones Fandom! Welcome back to Murderdrones Monday! Hope those who participated had fun finding hidden eggs this weekend, today we’re talking about asbestos!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here’s a little-known fact for you humans in the audience. Copper 9’s ‘snow’ isn’t actually snow at all, but rather a planetary dusting of pulverized silicate.
To put it simply, asbestos.
If you do not know what asbestos is, it was most relevant to humans when it was used as an insulation for their homes.
Unfortunately for humanity, it took them a little longer to discover the nightmare material’s little adverse effects, primarily on their moist and fleshy respiratory systems.
Inhaling the airborne fibers could lead to longterm damage SO severe they named an entire condition after it: Asbestosis. The condition involved asbestos fibers penetrating the sensitive little sacs used to oxygenate human blood.
The ensuing scarring caused the lungs to fail at their designated job of expansion and retraction, leading to chronic breathing complications, and potential development of cancerous tumors.
Consider that next time you want to frolic around in Copper 9’s flurries.

In Murderdrones Intermission, there’s a poster on the wall advertising Pomni in Fortnite for 2025. This implies that in intermission lore, The Amazing Digital Circus was an existing tv or other media series, and made a business deal with Epic Games.
Next week we are back to our regularly scheduled facts

Monday, again
Welcome back to another Murderdrones Monday. What’s your favorite episode?
If you said Cabin Fever you’re lucky, because we’ve got a moderately relevant topic today.
Just what is ‘Cabin Fever?’
Tumblr media
Cabin Fever was coined back on the oh-so-lovely old earth. As always, humans lost track of it’s origins, but guessed it came to use during the early 1900s, stemming from the isolation inside of physical log cabins during earth winters. (They wouldn’t last a day on Copper 9.)
It referred to the psychological effects caused by prolonged confinement. Due to the social and explorative nature of humans, there were hosts of glitches and malfunctions that could occur when one was restricted from communal activities or stimulation.
The effects presented themself in a variety of nasty ways. Some became irritable, others depressed, others anxious. Most endured combinations of the the three.
The monotony reduced motivation, which reduced action and further exacerbated frustrations and symptoms of depression.
Humans housed together in confinement often experienced issues stemming from the constant sharing of space. Their individual symptoms would lead to increased hostility, which if left to fester could even result in violence.
Makes you wonder if something similar contributes to the social tensions among Outpost Workerdrones, aye?

So. It’s Monday.
Happy Murderdrones Monday! Set aside some time for yourself and don’t let the upcoming week knock you down.
Now if you’re a local, you might have noticed some more of the little guys scuttling about. That’s right. Oil roaches.
What you might not know is those little guys are just as much part of the foodchain as me and you. I’ve seen Murder Drones picking them off as well. Oil’s oil, I suppose.
Guess they take after the humans.
Oil roaches were based on an organic equivalent that existed beside humans on the old earth.
These original roaches were also edible in many forms, including several cooked varieties and even a milk.”

Obscure Murderdrones Fact #8
Tumblr media
Source: Murderdrones Episode 1
Timestamp: 4:45
Did you know that Khan’s award for creating the best door was awarded to him at Outpost 9? Six entire outposts away from his Outpost of residence—
Tumblr media
Source: Murderdrones Episode 1
Timestamp: 5:08
—which is shown to be Outpost 3.
What is also notable is that the award was signed by the WDF of Outpost 9, which implies that every outpost either has or could have its own Defense Force which is a separate entity from Defense Forces of neighboring outposts, or at least individual sects of the same entity.
This is really interesting when speculating how civilization functions. Khan very well may be the most powerful Drone in society, and it is due to his specialization in the one thing that keeps everybody alive.
Which again casts an interesting light on last week’s discovery: Khan’s potential plan to monetize door protection for neighboring outposts…

Ughhhhh… it’s Monday…
MURDERDRONES Monday!!!
Sit back, take a breather, and click your favorite Murderdrones Episode! Your average Monday may feel like getting your fingertip slowly pinched off, but most of us will make it through this seven-day interval with all eight digits intact.
As for you fleshy freaks with ten of the things and no warranty to speak of, how can you keep your fingertips attached?
Well, lucky you, historically you’re very unlike to forsake your phalanges to a vengeful subterrestrial with a Country accent.
The most common way JCJenson Employees lost their feelers was to the NON-thinking machines. And when they would lose one, it would be so fast that their systems didn’t have time to process it. They wouldn’t notice their impromptu amputation until they saw the ensuing metacarpal carnage for themselves.
Speaking of saws, power saws were the most common mechanism of removal for adult humans digits.
(Paper shredders an honorable mention)
However, the most common culprit amongst small human finger loss happened to be doors. (What do you have to say for yourself, Khan?)
So if you want to keep ahold of your extremities, keep them away from power saws, paper shredders, doors, and those with Country accents.

How To Cope With Being An Insignificant Robotic Prey Animal
Written By WDPD (Worker Drone Psychology Department)
Dominate Your Local Heirarchy
Tumblr media
You have no control over if you live or die. Establish a little control by controlling the lives of others.
Through shows of enough physical and psychological violence, you can cement your role as the dominant force in your local hierarchy of peers. Just one link higher on the food chain, now.
Immediately Cling To The Strongest Presence In The Room
Tumblr media
If they’re strong enough to kill you, maybe they’re strong enough to save you. Maybe.
You’re better off forming a strong social and emotional bond as quickly as possible to ensure the highest possible chance of protection.
Convince Yourself Your Wits Will Save You
Tumblr media
If backed into a situation where it is highly probable there will be loss of life, seek out your resources. Worker Drones have created very few works of literature in the two generations since human extinction, so your best chance is to grab something human-made and do your best to utilize it to the fullest. Surely you’ll be okay… right? You know what to do now. You will make it back home alive.
Keep telling yourself that. It’s all you can really do.
Embrace Your Insignificance
Tumblr media
It’s easier to not fear your inevitable death if you hold little value in life to begin with. By the same rule, it becomes a lot easier to shrug off the deaths of others. After all, it’s just the natural order of things.

Obscure Murderdrones Fact #7
Tumblr media
Source: Murderdrones Episode 1
Timestamp: 4:45
Subject: Khan’s Room Is Very Disturbing
It’s no secret that Khan is a concerning individual. The sentiment holds when we take a look at his personal environment.
Immediately noticeable is his habit of tracking ideas with sticky notes, much like his daughter. But distinguished is the disturbing contents of these records.
“Doors > Uzi” affirms a bold, uncomfortable, but unsurprising reality to his apparent favoring of his technological achievement over his own child (which only begs more questions considering the doors are apparently sentient.) But what truly makes this disconcerting is its evidence that Khan is very, very aware of his stance, and believes it enough to proclaim it openly on his wall. Why does he feel the need to do this?
Moving up, arguably more distressingly, a note reads “New Idea: Monthly Subscription Based Doors?”
Khan’s Doors are the only thing keeping out sky demons. Why would Khan feel the need to charge for this? How would this even work? Who is paying? Paying for individual protection seems farfetched, given the doors are an all-or-nothing protective measure.
Is he considering charging the other outposts for access to his technology? That makes marginally more sense, assuming that the outposts aren’t directly linked (big assumption here,) and that one failed door wouldn’t a breach all Outposts.
Perhaps the concept is charging subscription for regular doors, and thus limiting the non-subscribed access to their own quarters or other Outpost 3 locations. That may be the best-case scenario.
Finally, it’s obligatory to mention the photograph. Interestingly, Nori’s segment of the family photo appears charred away by a Dissasembly Drone’s Nanite Acid. It’s fitting, given the acid is what spurred her “death” to begin with, but how did the photo itself become damaged?

Hey, It’s Murderdrones Monday!
Relax, take a breather, and turn on your favorite Murderdrones Episode! We’re getting through this week together.
Speaking of, just how long is a week on Copper 9?
Well, while multiple sources of my reasonable acquisition indicate that time on Copper 9 flows miraculously parallel to the old earth did…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Typical seven-day week. Pardon the extra month though
…just how long is a week on the usual exoplanet?
Well if we start where the humans did and take a look at Mars (not an exoplanet mind you, but in its star’s habitable range like Copper,) your average day is 24 hours and 37 minutes, leading to a week that’s a measly four hours longer than a classic 24x7.
Okay, let’s look at real exoplanets now
Beta Pictorus B has a nice blistering pace of 8 hours a day. That week will run you a nice 56 hours, or approximately two and a half days. But hey, at least that means we’d have Murderdrones Monday more often.
On the other hand, Kelper-438b has a nice thing known as “Tidal Locking.” It means the days last forever. Gravity keeps one side of the planet eternally looking inward. Hope you like whatever day it is, because that’s your new reality.
Welp, that’s my piece. Do you enjoy Copper 9’s retro-rotation? Do you think it should get a move-on? Or do you want it to be Tuesday forever!
