Please please please watch the Oxventure Daggerheart one-shot, if you either haven't or weren't planning on it. It's so incredibly funny, in a very classic Oxventure, but somewhat Discworld-flavoured way.

I think they did a great job adapting to a brand new system they aren't familiar with, and the characters (tiny klepto-monke, unemployed murder goat, a halfling stripper, and his Medieval Times coworker, an ex Chuck E Cheese animatronic) meshed together so nicely. I can tell this is 100% going to become a comfort re-watch video for me.

So I'm back from convention and finally watched Daggerheart. It was a fun time!

It being a one shot, there's no character art, and nobody else has posted Daggerheart art yet, so I guess it's up to me now. Vonya was the one I had the most confidence in. I think she's adorable and badass and I love the accent Jane gave her.

I'm happy Morven got her partial revenge, violent, cruel, and emotional and both hollow and cathartic. I think she deserves every second of it, her rage and joy.

I'm worried for Robin, who didn't want violence and torture to be done with his body and had asked his friends to reign Morven in. I think he deserves his confusion and anger.

I'm excited for them in Season 3, which I need, like, right now. Give it to me.

Cressida Blackwater! Under normal circumstances she would NEVER let this happen to her hair, but Witch Bolt is Witch Bolt is Witch Bolt.

Happen and Cressida are so opposite that they even have a split in their preference between Robin and Morven. Happen believes that any attempts to alter your luck and therefore your fate is wrong, while as a banker, Cressida has always weighted luck in her favour and controlled the fate of others via their finances. Happen will cast himself to the whims of fate while Cressida wants very much to be in control (of herself, her body, her magic and her property) and very much dislikes it when she can't control any of it.

Happen likes Robin, who is kind, humble, sincere, and brave and dislikes Morven who is stuck up, arrogant, controlling and callous.

Cressida doesn't dislike Robin, but leans more towards tolerating him than liking him; her preference for Morven is rooted in power, pride and appreciation for her wit. She views Morven as more of an equal than Robin and respects her magical power more than Robin's willingness to try anything.

And this from the people who gave us 'we're doing normal things. I'm a normal adult man'.

I’ve just been thinking a lot about Morven trying to feel comfortable in a body that isn’t her’s. You just keep waking up in a form that isn’t right and will never be right.

And she can never go back to how she was before, as being burned at the stake tends to…..damage a body a bit.

I think (if she ever started being nice to them) the other girlies would help her out with a little makeover.

I'm sure waking up to the proof your coven and friends are all dead is pretty traumatic, but not as bad as getting dunked on because your group thinks your making things up. Okay, nah, trophy room's kinda fucked.

I will probably tweak her design, but I needed to draw this immediately. Even if there's no official artwork of her, I am to happy we got a description of Morven.

I think that whole floor was fucked as hell, you and your friends are dead <3 Also I doubt Morven would want to be painted, so I'm sure there's something creepy about your murderer being able to paint your portrait.
