hey man everyone loved how convenient and easily forgettable you were on earth. u were the least inconvenient person out there. my buddy told me you were super helpful and nice and didn't take up any space and just slid away from their mind as soon as they stopped looking at you. it was really impressive how little of an impression you made on anyone. sucks that it didn't save you man.

Was it fucked up that when I went to the drs for extreme pain and heavy flow on periods, the first thing they did was put me on the pill? Like, it's working. But was it bad that they didn't try and find the cause?

It's so frustrating that I'm only seeing more and more lobotomy jokes. Especially "live, laugh, lobotomy" merch.

You are making fun of the torture of disabled people. People with intellectual disability and severe mental illness brutally had parts of their brain severed or killed. Many people died from this. We can never know the true impact because the people who endured this were not the same after.

We shouldn't be bringing this up in any lighthearted way. This was a tragedy, and we should be showing basic human respect to the victims. I don't think anyone can "reclaim" it and no one should want to. Please treat it with the severity and respect you would to any other mass tragedy from history.

There's increasing talk of Trump possibly having dementia so this is your reminder that making fun of disabilities is still violent and ableist even if the disabled person a bad person. People with dementia and other forms of CI are not stupid, intentionally violent, or more bigoted than the rest of the population. There is also nothing funny or mock-worthy about incontinence, slurred speech, confusion, or word salad. You can have discussions about his ability to lead and declining health without throwing an exceptionally vulnerable disabled population under the bus.

it's so fucking isolating to have had a self harm addiction as severe as mine was because no one ever fucking understands you and you can't ever talk about it because then suddenly you're a fucking freak! and everything about you is "too triggering" for people because you're just fucking covered in scars and every part of you is made of knives and nails and razor blades you are so rough around the edges and all you want to do is talk to someone who understands. you try talking to your therapist and it doesn't help and you only feel more alone when he tells you that he's sorry and he doesn't know what to do and neither do his colleagues and he's never seen anyone with a case like yours and you're just in the desert looking for water but the water all fucking died while you barely got out but hurry up because you're evaporating too! all the while the world will not love you, will not save you, you're too sharp around the edges they want you to hide. they want you to hide away and die but they won't say the second part out loud. they stifle you they muzzle you they put a piece of tape over your mouth anything to keep your impressionable words away from the children oh would you just think of the fucking children? they're scared and concerned they look at your arm with confusion and point to it hoping for an explanation- an explanation you cannot give them. and you grieve, you grieve quietly with your mouth covered for the time in your life where your suffering was quiet where your suffering wasn't so goddamn loud where people couldn't read it all over you, see that you are sick that you are ill that you are in need of being locked away in a dull room to dull your edges to sandpaper away what has happened to you and hope it disappears, disappears like a cloud after rain but it will never go away it is a mountain and when you mine down the mountain it is the earth below it it is bottomless and it hurts and you are so alone being the only mountain for miles. yet you can't wish for other mountains why would you wish this life on someone else? that's not fair! but it's not fair that you are alone and if only someone could understand you without the trauma without the scars without the years and years of self-torment because to think of this life for the ones you love makes you want to vomit but you are alone you are alone you are alone. the world reminds you every day you are alone.
