Nasutitermes, a Termite Species that is often mistakenly classed as a non-threatening Termite by Pest Control operators and the general public, these comments need to stop.

Nasutitermes are a threat to all properties; they love hardwood timbers, so all those that think a hardwood house is ok, think again. The Pest Company has seen Termites destroy hardwood timber by more than one Termites Species. Coptotermes, Shedorhinotermes and Microcerotermes have been found in Southeast Queensland damaging hardwood frame houses.

The Termite Species Coptotermes consume the Trelona Cartridge saving another home from a Termite attack.

Trelona is a fairly new system that has been tested and measured by BASF over many years, however it is always best to know the system you are installing actually does the job.
