MISSING FILLY IN PONYVILLE! HAVE YOU SEEN SCOOTALOO?

Everypony your help is needed now more than ever! A young Pegasus filly by the name of Scootaloo had reportedly gone missing since the night of January 14th. She was last seen by townspony by the border of the Everfree Forest.

Close friends state that she was also riding a dull blue scooter with red wheels when last seen. Scootaloo has a light orange coat, lavender irises, with a fuchsia mane and tale. Her cutie mark is a tri-colored shield with a wing and lightning bolt motif on it.

“ Please, if you guys see her please let me know, please,” Wonderbolt Rainbow Dash pleads in an interview with The Ponyville Weekly. “ Scootaloo isn’t the type to just, well, run off like this. I need to know she’s safe, I… Please help us find her.”

ELEMENT OF KINDNESS LENDS A HOOF TO RABID CRITTERS

As the new year rolled along, several citizens of Ponyville voiced their worries for a wave of Everfree critters that had traded their life in the grand forest for a life of foraging in pony homes.

Numerous reports of aggressive behavior from these animals did not fail to reach the ears of Fluttershy- the Element of Kindness. On January 8th, Fluttershy ventured to the locations where the rabid critters were reportedly spotted. To her luck, a group of them were located straight away- ransacking the garage dump of a residence. With her signature gentle demeanor and soothing voice, Fluttershy was able to lure the Everfree animals to her cottage- where she states that she is in the process of healing them.

“ They seemed to have inhaled some pollen that caused an inflammatory allergic reaction,” Fluttershy tells Ponyville Weekly from the safety of her window, “ The pain of it is likely the reason for their feral actions… Please do not blame the poor critters, they’ve been suffering this entire time.” The kind soul then lifts up a solemn squirrel, who is said to have been one of the rabid creatures. “ This one has been so well mannered since then! Giving them a nice warm bath should put them right back on track.” Fluttershy informs, and this advice goes out to any who happen to catch any more of these runaways.

A SURPRISE PARTY FOR DERPY HOOVES!

It’s a day like no other, and Ponyville’s very own deliverypony Derpy Hooves has completed another shift of hard work. Zipping from house to house, it is thanks to her that the ponies of Ponyville are able to reach out to loved ones beyond our reach.

However, such constant flying has its disadvantages. On January 2nd, Derpy Hooves was reportedly seen going to the doctor in concern for her aching wings. With our anonymous source, it was then announced Derpy would be taking a temporary leave from the Postal Service in order to recover.

The news of her condition left Derpy disappointed. “ I couldn’t believe I had to go,” Derpy states in an exclusive Ponyville Weekly interview, “ It felt like I was letting everypony down.”

On such a dark and lonely day, Equestria’s Element of Laughter took it upon herself to cheer Derpy Hooves up– Pinkie Pie style.

Pinkie Pie recruited the entirety of Ponyville to organize a surprise party in front of Derpy’s cottage; ponies expressed their gratitude for the hardworking deliverypony in dance, song and much more. It was a scene that could bring tears even to the foulest of dragons.

“ I smiled so hard I cried,” Derpy recounts with a heartwarming giggle, “ Pinkie even brought a mountains worth of muffins- for me!” It is reported that Derpy Hooves finished the gifted sweets within that very hour.

Such a beautiful experience is something that only the ponies of Ponyville can pull off. Until next Wednesday, where we give you the biggest news for our little town.
