This space may look empty, but my heart is full❤️... had the BEST day connecting with @raga_yoga staff for new hire paperwork (getting used to the sound of that😉) ... and speaking with a half dozen old/new/long lost students looking to join. I am seriously overjoyed with the team that is building and the smiles that are growing. The rains have returned... such is life; dark days come and as easy as it may be to abandon practice, these are the times we need it most. Breath, movement, consistency and dedication; these are what get me through. So, I’ve moved inward; found refuge on dry land and with my practice, I find shelter from the storm. Here, I fuel my body; here, I feed my soul. As usual my Guru remains undisturbed. Despite my best attempts, I don’t think he moved for 20minutes🤣... Rocky could care less whether I nail my handstand. He doesn’t care what I’m wearing. And he certainly isn’t interested in the ‘latest and greatest’. In his quiet way, he teaches by example. I may not get to see the incredible Lauryn Hill tomorrow night but flowing with her takes me right back 20yrs to those magical SF days... For my girl @mishelmiss ... yeah, I could’ve reshot.
