There’s a power that doesn’t clap back — it calls you to rest.
Forgiveness is strength. Love is power.
Today, choose rest over retaliation.
#ForgivenessHeals #sarapraise #ThePowerOfLove #RestInGod
“The Power Beyond the Burn”
There is a power greater than revenge.
A force stronger than the heat of pain.
It’s the quiet power of forgiveness — the kind that doesn’t come from us, but flows through us.
Sometimes we want to clap back.
We want others to feel the pressure they put on us.
To sit in the weight they gave us.
But then Love steps in.
Matthew 11:28 (KJV) says,
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
What if that rest — the one we’ve been praying for — is found in the act of forgiveness?
Not forgiveness for applause.
Not forgiveness for pride.
But forgiveness for purity.
Forgiveness for peace.
Because there’s a kind of love that doesn’t need revenge.
A kind of love that doesn’t deny the hurt — but heals it.
A kind of love that doesn’t erase the betrayal — but redeems it.
This love helps us become who God always intended us to be:
✨ Carriers of His image
✨ Bearers of His heart
✨ Vessels of His love
The truth?
We’ve all been heavy.
We’ve all been burdened.
We’ve all needed rest.
And God — in His mercy — teaches us through pain what power truly is.
Not the power to retaliate.
But the power to love.
The power to forgive.
The power to release what was never ours to carry.
Because love — real love — covers a multitude of sins.
It sees the soul behind the offense.
It lifts us above the need to “get even.”
And it teaches us that healing is holy.
So today, I’m grateful.
Not because hurt felt good — it didn’t.
Not because betrayal looked beautiful — it wasn’t.
But because it taught me what power truly is.
And that power… is the love of God.

Confronting Fear Limitations: Identifying Fear
When I was younger, I had a dream—a specific career path I believed would define my purpose and bring me fulfillment. However, that dream collided with a parental restriction that I didn’t fully understand at the time. The tension between my personal aspirations and my dad’s decision was frustrating, but looking back, I see how God was shaping me through it.
Fear of being misunderstood and the overwhelming desire for independence made me question my identity. But here’s the truth: aligning with God’s order doesn’t diminish your authenticity—it strengthens it. My dad’s decision, though difficult to accept, taught me a lesson in trust, obedience, and reliance on God’s plan, even when it doesn’t align with my own.
This journey helped me confront fear in a new way—not fear of failure, but fear of limitations. I learned that God’s purpose for us isn’t hindered by external restrictions but by internal resistance. We often mask our struggles, trying to pretend we’re unaffected, but healing and growth come when we identify our fears and face them with faith.
Call to Action:
Spend time in prayer, asking God to reveal any areas of fear or resistance in your heart. Write down your aspirations and compare them with God’s promises. Surrender your desires to Him, trusting that His plans are always for your good.
