We’re only 2 episodes in but look at the MELANIN YA’LL!!

I legit almost cried seeing this cause I literally grew up watching so much anime when the cast doesn’t resemble me, so this is hitting so close to home… This is how I first felt when I watched Sailor Moon, but this time..it just feels so “right” to identify with these characters…ya know?  I’am over here like @aphtoncorbin when I was a kid looking at anime and thinking this:

But here I am watching Cannon Busters and I don’t have to hang onto “one black” character in passing..there’s just so many fucking black people!! We got dread locks, fros, twists,braids, fro hawks, twas, straight hair, all shades of our black color spectrum, No ambiguously brown, they are BLACK! I’am 33 years old, and @leseanthomas is out here putting black people in Anime which you know damn well is like finding a $100 bill on the floor when it comes to this genre, so can we make sure this anime gets a 2nd season and this man is set for life?! And the story is also great so far, so I know 12 eps alone isn’t enough so come on.. If you can watch BNHA,Gurenn Lagann, Kill la Kill, DBZ, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, Cow boy Beepop, Trigun, etc then you can DEF watch this! Also the music for both the OP/ED is addicting!! Thank you @leseanthomas​ for doing this!!
