what might be one of the most admirable aspects about shawn and angela’s relationship is in regards to how angela never tries “fixing” shawn. she knows exactly when to step back and give him space, or remove herself from a situation entirely when she rightfully deems it as unfair for her to endure.

after all, it was angela’s insistence that he be honest with what he wants for himself that prompted their first breakup in s6, even when shawn initially tried brushing off her concerns.

however, her standing up for herself never interferes with the empathy she extends towards him. she doesn’t harbour grudges or chastise him for his behaviour, and always tries to support him when he’s suffering. they were literally so perfect for each other, twin flames through and through🥹

He was crazy about her and she was the love of his life and Topanga saying she’s never seen his eyes light up like that when he saw Maya’s mom was just wrong. His heart would literally beat for Angela

And I remember realizing it was the scene I had done with Larisa and thinking well no one can do this better than Larisa like this is gonna suck. And then reading with you. And after you left being like oh yeah that was incredible. This is so great. And just being like absolutely there is no doubt in my mind that this will work. Like It was so obvious. It is funny that I, what I felt like when we were doing, when I was watching it was that there's a memory attached to shooting this. And I don't have it. -Danielle
