Fangirl Code

Okay this might just save your life. This code started when me and my friend couldn’t say the word smut without being afraid our parents would look it up. Eventually we got together and we created a full code for things that either didn’t have a word or just we needed a new code for.

Dot:  can also be used as “dotty. explains any scene that has cringe. ex: “Careful there’s a dotty scene in there,” This was the second word added to this list after I watched this scene in Tokyo Ghoul, with a guy who’s name I can’t remember. Under is the scene in question.

Dot-Dot:  Non- Con or Rape. ex: “I don’t think you should read that fic, it’s too dot-dotty for you in my opinion,”  This code word was created because we’ve said it way too many times and now our parents know the word as well. Plus, my friend has a a little sister who’s very impressionable.

Dot-Dot-Dot:  Smut. ex: “Hey, just a word of warning there’s a dot-dot-dot scene in there,”This was the first word that we created, and it has saved our butts more times than I can count.

Putting Fish in the Microwave:  Another word for ��reading NSFW. ex: “Be careful of putting fish in the microwave,”

Titanic: Character Death(s). ex: “Careful, there’s a titanic scene in there, I know how you’re sensitive to that,”

Mayflower: Ship(s) that sail or will sail in a fic. ex: “You should totally read this fic, it’s a Mayflower,”

Siren: a fic with a good description but with an unexpected titanic. ex: “Katie, I got caught by a siren. I’m literally crying my eyeballs out,”

Mermaid:  A fic that has a good description and has a mermaid. ex: “Girl, this fic is for you, it has a mermaid,”

Walk-in-Closet: A scene in which Character A walks in on Character B in an embarrassing moment. ex. “Ajdlfjsdfh! That was such a walk-in-closet; how did I not see that coming?!?!?!”

Heartache: The feeling you feel when all the feels happen. ex: “Gahh! Such heartache! Much dying!”

Heart Attack: 

a fic that has the same (or similar) name as another fic but with a different rating or plot. ex: “I just had a heart attack, and now I’m questioning my sanity” 

Inside Joke:

a fandom that you or a friend does not know about. es: “ Hey do you know Harry Potter?” “Nope it is a complete inside joke to me”

Abandoned Warehouse:

A fic that hasn’t been updated from 3 months to a year. ex; “This has only been an abandoned warehouse for like 3 months, there’s still hope,”

Corpse: 

A fic that hasn’t been updated from a year to longer. ex: “It’s official, this fic’s a corpse now,”

Zombie: 

A used to be corpse, that had been recently updated. ex: “Hey, remember (insert fic name here)? It just became a zombie!”
